Cheap WPC gives me gas

I tried EatMe before and it gave me terrible gas was insane, especially when working in the office having to "step outside" every ten minutes isn't ideal.

I thought it would give NutraTech natural whey a try, first time taking it today and I have terrible gas again! Other whey proteins like gold standard, cellucore, myofusion, quad etc don't give me this problem.

I was wondering if anyone knows why this happens with certain brands? And if anyone else has had this issue.

Pretty anoying to say the least!

a lot of the more expensive powders have digestive enzymes and stuff like lactase to help control lactose intolerance.. you might be starting to build intolerance towards lactose?

You could be right FOTR, I am taking a Probiotic at the moment just not taking it as regularly as I should...

Might have to stick with the more expensive choices... although I don't think Quad has digestive enzymes.

I personally find that's when the whey protein must be mixed with cheaper quality proteins. usually when it has ingredients that just say "milk proteins". I'm not sure why or if its just to do with the quality overall or maybe other crap in there. But I've always found that as an indication. Even in brands like myofusion that are expensiev but have "milk proteins" as an ingredient it tends to happen. I figured when they list it as that, because they also list "whey protein" as another ingredient. It must have a different process thaat somehow makes it not agree with me.

I have the same problem as you, but thats weird that you find myofusion and superquad not to bad, as obviously the main ingredient in both is concentrate, must be because it is broken up with other ingredients, i.e rice protein, casein etc. I just try and get a protein now with mainly isolate, I find it so much easier on my digestive system. Gold standard is overprices for my liking, i get profight whey complex from xtreme for $90, 76 serves, 24g protein and main ingredient isolate, and tastes mint, should give it a try

I stock up on ON when its a special got a few tubs at $80.

Only if my digestive system could handle the cheaper WPC's!
