But yeah on a serious note, Loochi is definitely overdue for an overall. His physique just keeps getting better and better.

Also the Orton brothers. Already achieved massive accomplishments this year. I think they will just keep on improving.

Powerlifting wise, Brett Gibbs is going to be a serious contender for the IPF world junior title. Also I believe Andrew Thomas is going to put up a sickening bench press next year. He recently pressed 200kgs in the u74s?Insane.

Daniel Holliday will pull 900kg+ in 2014 ... this is fact.  Only 10 months of training and hes going into oceanias NZs strongest Raw lifter.  Hamish Coulter will be back on the platform this year too - already has an 800 total full RAW.  Some big numbers due to come through for sure.

Not 100% sure Old Bull would know - certainly IPF and Derek Pomana would be my thinking.  865kg is a number I have in my head but not 100%.  Will ask around and see what I can find out.

Greg Turrell (Panzer) did a 260kg Bench equipt under IPF and then a 270kg at a CAPO event not long after.  Was within 3 wilks points of Reuben.

Saw Reuben squat 370kg at a CBC event a few years ago - was the most amazing squat I have ever witnessed.  He unracked - step back, one of the clamps gave way so he re-racked - reset straight away and then stepped out again and squated it calm as.  Some guys are super freak strong - he's definately one of them.

Hope this wasnt limited to just N.Z athletes lol

Hope Rich Froning takesout Reebok Crossfit games again for 2014 .

Keepin an eye on Odell Manuel from Australia in 2014 hope he beats the under 140kg raw deadlift record i think its held by Konstantine with no belt, i dont remender but the record is 426kg or sumthin like that.

I like Phil Heath but must be Kai,s turn to win an olympia.

PLing -

Odell Manuel for sure - monster squats n deads, world class.

Brett Gibbs 'nuff said.

Young Ethan Foote just hit junior WR record raw DL at 330kg, only 19 or 20 so heaps of potential.

BBing -

Ali, Leeroid, gotta say anyone training under Bobby Kazemi or Optimass in the novices - those two bringing through some great conditioned athletes.

Kagan Orton as always.

Marven's debut as a junior will be interesting in March - working with Jake Campus - peaked at 138.5kg, looking at 115 or so on stage! Be interesting with Matt the other big junior from wellington

Plenty of others to watch too.

Strongman -

Colm all day.

Sam Magele
