Anyone Tried Isatori Bi-Gro?

Dever heard of it until now and as always approaching it very skeptically just because the nature of this industry seems to be very scammy lol

Dunno what to make of it so far, won't be getting it until it's proven as have wasted way too much $ on supps in the past.

"Biogro Bio-active Peptides combine precise ratios of proline-rich peptides, growth factors, immunoglobins, lactoferrin, and fibroblast-GF for rapid muscle growth & recovery."

"Fertilizer for your muscles"

By now alarm bells are ringing in my head screaming 'bullshit' lol

"The engineered Bio-Active Peptides (or BAP's) found only in Bio-Gro use a patented manufacturing method, whereby cleaved protein fragments are extracted from the highest grade bovine colostrums, which are then centrifugated and micro-concentrated to form a low molecular weight, highly bioavailable powder, yielding an exact concentration of bioactive"

Bio-Gro™ is a true "game-changer" from
iSatori—the first to introduce a new breed of
                   designer supplementation called Bio-Active
Peptides™. Unlike anything you've seen before,
because until today, this newly developed product
                category—called Bio-Active Peptides (or BAP's for
short)—has never existed in sports nutrition. It's an
entirely new category, for building muscle. iSatori
has custom engineered and patented the first
Bio-Active Peptides found only in Bio-Gro, yielding
           precise ratios of Proline-Rich Peptides (PRP's);
          Growth Factors (IgF, TGF beta-2, EGF, PDGF);
         Immunoglobulins (IgG, IgA); Lactoferrin; and
Fibroblast-GF. These custom BAP's are designed to
provide a supra-physiological effect that, once
consumed, signals the body to amplify its natural
protein synthesis process, helping you develop lean
muscle and recover faster from intense workouts, far
more than you can on your own or no matter how
much protein you consume.* Basically, you can think
of Bio-Gro as "fertilizer for your muscles."

This sounds like a question for Flex.

Biggrin

Haha yeah woopee it's colostrum. Isatori have just made it sound really fancy and scientific. Just like CLA and Leucine have made a come back, iI guess it's Colostrum's turn now. Dessicated Liver tabs and Boron are the next big things....

------ blahhhh

We, at iSatori, have custom engineered and patented the first and most technically advanced, low molecular weight, micro-concentrated form of Bio-Active Peptides (BAP's) found only in Bio-Gro. These custom BAP's are designed to provide a supra-physiological effect that, once consumed, signal the body to amplify its natural protein synthesis process, helping you develop lean muscle and recover faster from intense workouts, much more so than on your own

AP's are engineered using a patented manufacturing method, whereby cleaved protein fragments are extracted from the highest grade bovine colostrums, which are then centrifugated and micro-concentrated to form a low molecular weight, highly bioavailable powder, yielding an exact concentration of bioactive:

  • Proline-Rich Peptides (PRP's)
  • Growth Factors (IgF, TGF beta-2, EGF, PDGF)
  • Immunoglobulins (IgG, IgA)
  • Lactoferrin
  • Fibroblast-GF

These are the essential BAP's needed to cause the body to send a stronger signal, from the muscle cell, to "call for" protein synthesis and then enable the muscle cell to accelerate, or amplify, its rate of protein synthesis, thereby helping us build new lean muscle, and recover faster, after intense weight-training workouts.

To date, there are over 32 clinical studies, conducted from 1990-2011, (actually there's quite a few more than that however they've only referenced the positive outcomes) which demonstrate the positive effects of the primary ingredient inside Bio-Gro, including improvements in lean body mass, performance, recovery, strength, and immune function, and more are currently underway.

----------------

Here's all their study referances to how amazing it is, funny that they are using some amazing new technology to make colostrum so much more effective yet still reference studies done in the 90's - colostrum was an absolute failure in the 90's and didn't live up to it's hype even then so not sure why they'de refer to those studies.

Read on and be amazed that this wonder supplement has remained under the radar for the last 20 years:

Woah Flex that was a very informative post. I've been tempted to try it too since seeing it in the youtube fitness community.

Ahh yeah okay, all that information is from the manufacturers site so should be taken with a grain of bioactive, microconcentrated salt.

Apparently it took them four years to develop it and one the orginal testers of the product managed to grow a whole inch on his arms in one month - he must be freaking massive by now so look out for D. Sandler ABD-PhD, CSCS to clean up at next years Olympia.

-----------------

I've gained a solid inch on my arms in one month!"

"I've always been a naturally muscular guy, and must admit, I'm very skeptical of most supplements. In fact, other than amino acids and protein, I don't heavily rely on any other supplements. Then we started testing Bio-Gro, and because I am the Director of Science of Education for iSatori, I got the benefit of using it well before anyone else. By monitoring my progress closely, I discovered Bio-Gro has helped me put a solid inch of muscle on my arms, during the first month I used it.* And, I can tell how it markedly helps me recover much faster after workouts.* I would say Bio-Gro is not only in a class of its own but it will set the stage in Bio-Active Peptides and is here to stay for many, many years to come." --D. Sandler, ABD-PhD, CSCS; Director of Science & Education, iSatori

---------------

Personally I'd wait another 12 months and see if it's still on the market, the fact that it's buy one get one free from most places probably tells you something about how the sales are going.
