From 1200 calories to 1500 calories

Not much of a diffrence but this is the way I will start my increase in calories, instead of watching what I eat through out a day I will eat a certain amount of calories for each meal going on what and when I know im hungrest and what  I can comfortably enjoy with out feeling like iv over eaten.

Due to good advice from this site I really think it's time to up it abit.

SO:

New eating planing at 1500 calories aday intill I can increase further will be.

- Breakfast at 350 calories

  • Banana & Honey Smoothie

    1 cup light vanilla soy milk
    1 small banana
    1 tablespoon honey
    2 tablespoons old-fashioned oatmeal
    1 tablespoon flaxseeds, ground

    Or

  • Florentine Egg Scramble on an English Muffin

    2 eggs
    1/2 cup cooked fresh spinach
    1 whole-grain English muffin, toasted
    1 cup cut cantaloupe

- Lunch at 400 calories

  • Balsamic Chicken Salad Pita

    1 cup precooked and diced chicken
    2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
    1/4 cup chopped scallions
    1 large stalk celery, chopped
    1 whole wheat pita
    1 cup bagged mixed salad greens

            Or

  • Tuna, Red Grapes & Walnuts on Greens

    2 cups spring greens
    3 ounces chunk light tuna
    3 tablespoons chopped walnuts
    3/4 cup red grapes, cut in half
    2 tablespoons low-fat
    vinaigrette dressing

- Dinner at 450 calories

  •  Grilled Fish & Summer Vegetables

    4 ounces fish, such as salmon or tilapia fillets
    1 tablespoon hoisin sauce (Chinese barbecue sauce found in the Asian section of grocery stores)
    1/2 cup chopped yellow squash
    1/2 cup pea pods
    1/2 cup chopped carrots
    2/3 cup cooked brown rice

          Or

  • Spicy Chicken Wraps

    2/3 cup precooked chicken strips
    1/4 cup chopped scallions
    1 tablespoon hot sauce
    1 cup shredded cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower and carrot mix
    2 whole wheat tortillas

- Snacks at 150 calories

  • Now this bit will be mostly fruit cause thats what I enjoy or Nuts as well as low dairy diet.

The goal is every day to eat 1500 calories untill I can increase I think this is a good start and if its not well help me out.

it's great that you are increasing the calories, you may even find though ou're eating more you will be losing more fat than before. if your body is kind of rejecting the food then as you're upping the cals do it very slightly like a little extra per day rather than suddenly giving yourself that extra bit
