so in july I weighed at 109.2, Iv never been a heavy person but put on the weight the last 2 years.

For the last few months I have trained every day, 2.4k runs 3 times a week, Mixed endurance, strength, balance and flexibility non stop leaving one day to rest and my job is very physical.

Food wise I stick with no more than 1200 calories a day but im also trying to bulk up as im really loving the weight lifting side of it too so not sure how to go about that.

I weighed in today at 97.1kgs which means since july I have lost just over 12 Kgs im pretty sure thats a good effort i hope so any way.

Wanting to make it to 85 but need to change it up how do I do it.

are you sure youre counting your calories correctly? 1200/day is f*ck all even for a girl, and at your weight and considering youre excercising id expect you to be losing a lot of weight still irrespective of metabolic damage which you may have, caused by eating not much for ages.

im sure people will say up your calories blah blah blah to get your metabolism faster again and while this may be sensible i think its bullshit that someone weighing 97kg who excercises can not lose weight on 1200cal.

just my thoughts. also:

-you could also have hypothyroidism (thyroid not producing enough hormone), may be worth having some tests on thyroid hormones and probably a lot of other stuff too.

-if you train hard and dont rest properly you may have elevated cortisol levels which can slow fat loss

but i still reckon youd lose weight on 1200 cal/day. re. your pic, are you a digger operator?

Azide: Some great causes of reduced thryoid activity and high cortisol levels are undereating....

Between me and my partner we have 5/6 years of PT experience, not saying that for credibility but for the fact that 95% of female clients who come through are eating around 800 - 1300 calories (or the "nothing" diet as mcmass calls it), undereating and overexercising and have stalled on their weightloss or are still overweight.

You can imply whatever you want from this. But all im going to draw from it is that it isn't the best approach, especially if you are wanting to feel good, be healthy (getting a good level of macro and micronutrients), enjoy life and continually progress to the weight you want, and then maintain it. I also believe its highly unneccessary to eat 1200 calories when wanting to lose weight.

Objectively - I have had discussions with dieticians and they definitely don't recommend going that low calorie wise, the bottom end for someone exercising would be 1500 -1600 calories. That doesnt have to be the whole diet either - maybe at the end of a  weight loss plan.

To qualify what I'm saying - I was 84kg 3 weeks ago and have lost 4 kgs on 2250 calories with a cheat meal 1x per week.

I suggest finding a way to slowly increase your calories. if you do this gradually you will not put on much if any weight at all, you may even see yourself LOOKING better as your body responds to your training much better.

It might feel like going backwards - but its really not - increasing your calories increasing your options of what you can do in the future - you cant eat less than now, right? without feeling like you're about to die - which you definitely dont need to feel to get to a healthy weight!

If you like you could post your diet and others could help/suggest some things you might be lacking?

Hay thanks, 1200 is an average im not silly if I feel that i need to eat I will, Increasing isnt really an option I dont eat a hell of a lot in genral even before the weight loss I just never excercised and im diabetic so i have to be very careful, I am always on with fruit and vegies My stomach cant seem to handle meat so that takes that away which is why my calorie count is so low, I would like to increase it a little but not too sure how i would do that.

So just so we are clear not starving myself nor being silly about it, I know it has to be done properly to be maintained.

I did lose alot of weight pretty fast im not complaining just dont know why all of a sudden it stoped, I will see what my doc says about it too maybe one of your guys theories is right.

I will be posting my menu up be nice to see what i can change.

And yea Im digger operator but mostly earth works and bush work.

Thanks for the advice and stuff.
