Where can you get a good salad?

I work in downtown Auckland. I want a salad for lunch. A nice one, with fresh, interesting veges and plenty of lean chicken. Where can I go?

Nandos on Queen St they make good salads with lean chicken in them or Pita Pit

My Fav is Pita Pit - Large Chicken breast salad with extra meat. - Fills you up a treat!

The nearest Pita pita for you would be just across the road from Less Mills Britomart.

PIta pit/subway are good. Nando's is the best protein wise for sure. 

Make your own? Cheap to buy olives/sundried toms/greens/feta/balsamic+oliveoil for dressing. Easy to make and Saves heaps of money.

Do you have a 'Habitual Fix' nearby?

When I was cutting I sometimes had there salads, maybe like once or twice a week. Pretty fucking tasty and you can add extra meat etc, They are a bit pricey though, I think I paid like 12-13$ for one with extra chicken.

Nandos hadn't occurred to me for salads - I normally go straight for the half chook.

StussyNZ, that Pita Pit is just a block over from my work. I'll definitely check out their salads (only ever tried the pitas before). And Subway is a classic, of course.

Habitual Fix - yeah, they are awesome. I used to be a regular to their Customs St store, but that whole corner has been closed for renovations, which has left me without my Fix. It's very sad. Hopefully they come back soon.

Can't go past Pita Pit but them again depends on the store.

Well with nandos you can either get a specific chicken salad from the menu or just get the half chicken and have the salad instead of chips. So depends how much protein you feel you need!
