Gymnation Challenge 2013 - Aesthetics: Most Improved

Welcome, Cleo20... Damn, you're lean! You should probably look at entering Aesthetics Best Overall as well. (The more categories you enter, the more chances you have to win stuff.)

our after pics must be in the same location right? and also what if people use fake tan on there after pics and do contour lines or what ever there called to make there abs and other muscles pop out

Hi Softie. We haven't said the After pics must be in the same location, so I would expect there's going to be lots of photos taken with strong down-lighting. Same with the tan (although if you're talking about painting on the abs, I've never seen that look good, so I wouldn't recommend that)

Just consider it part of the game!

Biggrin

lol exactly.

Strong Pro-Tips in this thread! :D

Hey Zyon. Looking good for 16, bro!

Just check the rules on page 1 of this topic - you need 4 different poses, including one holding a sign. And if you can get them up by Friday, you'll be in to win one of another six tubs of protein we're giving away.

i am new to this page and hav no idea if im doing the right thing lol. i changed my life for the better 6 months ago and i quit smoking. then decided to give up coffee, sugar and anything processed. i found myself interested in weights but as i am self employed solo mum i decided to buy all my own gym gear and set up in my garage. to this day i have been seeking pointers and tips from athletes in the powerlifting game and wanted to gain muscle as i wanted some shape. here are a few pics 1st from before i started.

Hey Shan, welcome to Gymnation. Good to have you here!

Great photos, but...

This is the Most Improved category, so you need to take two or more sets of photos (Before and After sets) during this challenge. They have to be full-length body shots, and each photo set must contain the following poses:

  • three different poses of your choice, and
  • a relaxed pose showing you holding a sign with “GYMNATION, {your username}, {current date}” clearly written on it.

What you've posted looks great, but they just don't quite meet the rules, sorry. Can we get a few more photos from you?

:P

I'm running base metabolic static give or take 200cals - and modify my macros from high fat/low carb or high carb low fat.  Have stopped all cardio 3 weeks ago to maintain strength for powerlifting.  But did do a few weeks of twice a day for one hour.  Body weight is a number - especially given water weight can be influenced quickly if you know what you are doing.

Have to keep in mind when you are dropping from 122kg you make quicker weight changes on account of being abe to process more calories under load.  10% loss at 80kg vs 10% loss at 120kg = 4kg variance :)
