Just wanted to say good luck to everyone that entered each competition.  Great idea Peso and thanks to all the sponsors. Overall has been a good incentive for me to get in shape at the end of the powerlifitng season.  Looking forward to seeing the final photo sets up.

And that's it for 2013. Entries for the Gymnation Summer Challenge have now closed.

That means we have our Powerlifting and Crossfit winners. And man, there were some closely-fought battles...

In the Novice Powerlifting class, Major-flavaz just squeezed past Azide by a mere 1.4 points! It doesn't get much closer than that.

 

But wait! Major-flavaz dominated the Open Powerlifting class too. Now, according to our rules, "If anyone does win more than once, they'll take the prize for whichever category they win with the biggest margin." That means MF wins his year's supply of Horleys protein for his win in the Open class, leaving Azide free to collect his own 1-year protein supply from the Novice category.

Over in the Crossfit challenge we had some pretty amazing contenders, but in the end Oxxx took it out - completing the WOD in a lightning-fast 3:44 with an overall score of -91 (the lower the score the better, and this was damn low!)

 

And winning the runner-up prizes from NZ Muscle:

Massive congratulations, guys. You've all definitely earned your prizes. We'll sort out the details over the next few days.

All that remains for the Bodybuilding and Aesthetics categories is choosing the winners... I'll get a poll up as soon as I can so you can start the judging.
