ulnar side sharp pain in palm while lifting (particularly bench press)

I noticed this while increasing my weight lifted rapidly. Ive read some forums on bodybuilding and found it could most likely be my nerve not used to the pressure since I haven't lifted for a whole year,  they said I should warmp up properly and take a deload since my strength has been rapidly catching up to what it used to be last year. I should slow down my rate of increase

I was wondering if anyone agrees or have any other opinion to input haha

The smiley just appeared! Could you follow the link though?

Yeah that one at the end she does where you run your knee along the forarm is pretty cool!

I use it because I sometimes get clicky and sore wrists from lifting and sometimes start waking up in the morning with a dead arm, but this helps.

I also find just mobilising shoulders and stretching bis and tris and chest (some of the other things on that same playlist help too. (I think they show up?)

ok just got confirmed by physio tht its just a bone bruise because my hand wasnt used to the weight as i expected. it isnt used to cushioning so much weight that i used to last year

im happy that he said i can continue lifting but he suggests using gloves.. something a lot of bodybuilders would hate on me for lol
