so many classes.. how do you know what class to choose

Recommended Posts

hi..

Ive been training seriously for a couple of years now with a nutritionist and my goal has always been to get on stage and compete, but now that im getting close to competition time.. I have no idea what class to choose that will suite me the best.

Im absolutley happy with what ive achievd with the help of eatin right . Went from a big tall chubby guy to a tall and lean person and you know what comes with being tall... Right? I will tell you skinny legs.

So im more inclined to do a physique class and put on some board shorts but should i realy hide my weakness or man up and put on a G string and get up on stage...

Any help will be greatly appreciated..

Im 182cm...i think :-) and currently weigh 82kgs with 10% b/f.

I would go for the posing trunks plus you come away with such a great high after words like when I did my first show two weeks ago I loved every minute of just being there even I came 5th in my class plus I got lots of great feed back from the other athletes who saw my routine.Plus it made me feel good and if you are wondering which show that was it was the NABBA/WFF Pan Pacific champs in Auckland.Prehaps put  some current progress pic up which will be able you out and chose which class to compete in and read up on the other classes that are out there like NZIFBB,NABBA/WFF and INBA

Hi Muscleseeker. It really depends what federation you plan on competing in. They all have different classes.

One possibility that sits somewhere in between bodybuilding and physique is the athletic class (I think the NZIFBB calls this Classic). That might work well for you.

But it's hard to say without seeing photos. Can you take a full body shot (showing legs) for us?
