Why can't i view in thread pics?

do i need to download something to be able to see pics that people post in threads? can see the previews on the home page but when i go into the threads nothing is there?

Im the same. Some of the IT peeps signed in as me and can see the pics from what ever computer they were using, and I can see the pics when I sign on from home...

nah man its only when im on my lap top i get the problem. I can see pics when im on my iPhone so am assuming i need to install something or other.

If it was from work, and you are subject to a proxy filter, some pictures might not be viewable depending on where they are hosted.  This could explain why DCYPL has IT guys that can see it (unfiltered web access perhaps?), but he can't.  I haven't experienced any problems from phone or home, just from work where we have a proxy (only with Youtube vids though).

Hmm. I think DCYPL is talking about our web developers, Drizzt. I got him to help us check a few things.

He could see his own pics, which were hosted directly on Gymnation - but he couldn't see anyone else's images, including those also hosted on Gymnation. So I think that rules out the hosting question.

A couple of other thoughts:

- What browsers do you guys use? Do you have any ad-blocking software installed?

- What happens when you log out? (If you still can't see the images when logged out, we know it's not related to your account.)
