how far do you down to come on OHP for size??

I touch the bar on my chest. Purely because I prefer to do a full range of motion on anything but who knows if that's necessary.

this. although as you already pointed out plenty of people who do half reps for various excercises still have decent size on those muscles

somewhat related i think grip spacing is important too. i like to do a variety.

Yep, I take the bar as far down as it will go. I think that stops just short of my chest.

What about behind-the-neck presses? Anyone do them?

I find behind head press on the smith machine works great for mass with 90 degree bend in arm @ hand position.

I will lower as far as I can without my elbows rotating back. I used to be able to keep my elbows under my hands all the way down to my chest but over the years have found it harder and harder to do this so now I lower to my chin. With behind neck press I guess the bar comes down to about my ears and with dbs about the same. I just try and push straight up and down, once theres some internal rotation it always causes me problems.

I also use DB's as well and notice that I see to get a better range of moation with them and dont get any shoulder problems compare to when I do bb incline press or bb bench press and the low risk of a pec tear which is a plus
