Leg Training Session worth trying....not for pussies!

Gave my training partner the instructions that yesterday's leg session was to be a "to hell and back" workout. We're both dieting so had to be pretty short and sharp. Intensity was the focus.

Being my second to last real leg train before comp I wanted it to be a massive one so I told her if she could push me til I spewed I'd shout her a tub of Defin8.

Here it is with my weights as reference where applicable:

Leg Curls - 1 warm up then 3 working sets (8-10 reps with1-2 forced reps)

Leg Extns - 3 working sets (12-15 reps)

Poorman Glute Ham Raises - 3 sets (to failure with 2-3 assisted reps)

1-Legged Press on Plate Loading Leg Press - 3 sets (8-12 reps with 1-2 forced reps)

We then set out to squat/lunge superset but every rack/cage was being curled or pressed in!

Rather than waiting we hit Leg Press / Bodyweight Lunges with one set of press to get used to the movement.

Leg Press / Lunges - 3 sets (12 or so on 360 for first two sets then 240 for 20) basically we'd fail on leg press then get up and lunge around the track until we couldn't lunge! On the 2nd set I collapsed. On the 3rd I fell over a few times and felt like I'd been punched by Tyson! When I collapsed on the 3rd my TP dragged me back up and I did another 10 assisted lunges before collapsing again. I lay in the middle of the floor for a minute or so but got dragged up to finish up!!!

Didn't spew but got really messed up as you can see in the photo! Will be buying Defin8 lol.

Rested for 5 minutes then did two calf exercises and then practiced posing for 10 minutes, tho my legs were un flexible lol.

Get to it!
