I've been waiting a while for this one! Alex & Leanne Simays always run a good show and the quality is right up there.

Unsure of too many competitors or whether many Aussies will be coming over but I do know there's a couple of top Mens bodybuilders competing. Grant Petriese must be favorite to win class 1 Mens, though Kristian Bray will also be in that class. Mark Mete is coming out of Strongman for a crack at Masters Class 1 (?). I'm also expecting to see the novice debut of the year at this show with a sub 4% novice who's got some of the best genetics I've seen (and blew me away when we posed 2 weeks ago). He's keeping it pretty quiet but after sitting in the spectator seats for 20 years he's really put the acid on himself to come in at 110% and it shows. Linda Hickin will be on stage too and damn she's made improvements since last year.

Anyone know any other competitors?

You kept him on track then? Good! I'm looking forward to this. :)

Nutratech athletic competitor Chris Gooch will also be on stage and I expect he'll be looking diced to bits as I know his Grand Prix conditioning was a wee bit down as he got sick 2 weeks out. He's been training up a storm with Alex Simays so should be on point!

Grant will be class 2 mate.  He's not much taller than both of us.  Will be a great showdown in the overall between your TP, Grant and Kristian hot of the conditioning he showed up last weekend at the IFBB Auck show.

So that makes Steve, Darryn and now Grant you have to get past at nationals Nate!   Nah you're looking good bro, roll on Nelson!

Lol - Darrens definitely class 1 (despite last year lol) & Steves not competing. However I think Kagans the no 1 contender for 2013 Class 2, though if Grant is Class 2 its gonna be interesting! Damn class 2 is competitive!!!!

Class 4 is an easy one with Mark Anderson at the nationals. Be good to see him guest pose this weekend too.

NABBA-WFF Pan Pacifics 2013 was a good show, with some closely-fought classes. Tony Ligaliga took out the Athletic class, but Chris Gooch is hot on his heels. Very similar physiques, both with great conditioning - but Tony just had slightly more size.

First-time competitor Reuben Martin (#26 in the blue trunks) was dead impressive. After his class did all the mandatories, the judges called a few guys out for another round of posing, but they didn't call Reuben. They didn't need to - he'd already won first place.

Plenty of other stand-out competitors, but final mention goes to Damien Garrett - our very own Gym Rat. Well done mate... you should be proud.

Reubz did his class and went home and didn't contest the overall. Would have been interesting to see him next to Grant.

He's unlikely to do nationals as he just wanted to prove he could get on stage, get some decent photos then spend more time with his family and eat some KFC!

I'm sure everyone will try to get him to do nationals but I really doubt he will - he's a stubborn bastard!

Looked awesome tho - his turn to keep me moving for the next few weeks now!

Congratulations to my clients Christine and Naera.

Christine came second in her division (after placing first in the auckland champs last week) and Naera won the figure division and overalls as well as the best posing routine prize.

Was good to see such a high standard of competitors in the show, and the competition wasparticularly well run.

Psuedonym, really good pictures buddy and was good to catch up and see you at the show.

Gymrat well done on your first show mate you came in in good conditon and can be proud of what you achieved.

Hahah! Right now, if I'm not at work, or at the gym, every other waking moment is spent on Gymnation. (Quite literally actually... I'm a bit burnt out at the moment)

There is precisely zero headspace for a competition. Even a summer cut is more than I can think about right now.

But hopefully next year.

I will sponsor your board shorts ... (but I get to choose the colour *shok* )  :)
