Would be going that's if I lived in Auckland,was having a look at the website during the weekend sounds very cool.One thing that caught my eye was the articel that was Steve Ortan being a furture Mr Olympia  and thought I would be not all that surprised when that happens that;s if Steve makes the change over to NZIFBB and goes for his pro card given what Steve has done this year already like winning the Southrens and cleaning house in Italy etc which is very cool

So who ended up going to the expo this weekend? What did you think of it?

It was great to see more events being held there this year, but I noticed there were a few big exhibitors who were missing from last year. Crowd numbers seemed good though. I wonder what the stats were like...

I took my camera, but all my photos were pretty crap. If you guys have got any pics you can share, post 'em up.

Tom was sick but I got there with another mate after lunch on Saturday.

 

We both expected more.  More exhibitors, more people, more promo girls foisting bags of goodies on anyone who was moving too slowly.  Also a goodies bag on entry.  I thought that would have been a thing.  NZMuscle seemed the best organised on that front.  A bit of a queue the couple of times I strolled by so didn't bother.

 

Maybe I am flat out missing something but my thinking is supplement companies want to give me samples so I can realise my life wasn't complete until that moment and I must buy moah of that.  I went to the expo with a mental picture of zooming around the place collecting goodies like it was halloween, when not too distracted by fitness models and promo girls.

 

Didn't realise Carena West was there until re-reading Nates post now.  Pretty much didn't see anyone there actually.

 

Unless I come up with a better idea, I'm going to hit up Mr Olympia 2014 for that there expo buzz.  Plus celebrating a birthday with a fortnight in Vegas sound okay...

Were you one of the crew wearing stringer singlets, Kalidane? I felt a bit overdressed in my tshirt.

Seriously though - some impressive physiques wandering around, and I'd wear a stringer too if I looked like that. Sadly I don't, and I'm now feeling small and fat... but well motivated!

Agree it was good seeing a bunch of folk who obviously get stuff done.
