Sorry!

This site is in read-only mode right now. You can browse all our old topics (and there's a lot of them) but you won't be able to add to them.

Having trouble logging in?

I should probably have posted this at the start of the week, but this is the first time I've actually had a chance to sit down and do it. :P

If you were a member of NZBodybuilding previously, and you're having trouble logging in here, you don't need to create a new user account.

We've already moved your account across to Gymnation, including all your posts and PMs. However, your NZBB password was encrypted for security, so we couldn't transfer it over.

That means you need to reset your password on Gymnation. Don't worry - it's simple. Just click the Forgot Password link in the Gymnation login box, and we'll send an email to the address you registered with on NZBB. Follow the link in the email to reset your password, and you're done.

There are a couple of catches, however...

- Some people have found that the email we send gets put in the spam folder. So if you've followed the process above and you haven't received an email, please check your spam folder.

- The email address we send to is the one you registered with on NZBodybuilding. If you can no longer access that address, please contact us.

Give us a yell if you get stuck, but it should be pretty easy. :)

Also, let me know if there are things that aren't working.

We've tried to get everything functioning perfectly before we launched Gymnation, and the web team has worked around the clock to do it, but it's been a massive project and there's sure to be a couple of things we missed. So if you find a bug, let me know here, or drop me a PM.

minor bugs :

- trying to preview a new post gives this error

  • Notice: Undefined index: taxonomy_term in taxonomy_field_formatter_view() (line 1596 of /var/www/gymnation/gymnation.co.nz/modules/taxonomy/taxonomy.module).
  • EntityMalformedException: Missing bundle property on entity of type taxonomy_term. in entity_extract_ids() (line 7633 of /var/www/gymnation/gymnation.co.nz/includes/common.inc).

Thanks Ron. I'll pass those on to the web team.

On the "New and updated" page, everyone's view is different, so I can't see what you're seeing. Could it have been showing the old topics I've been moving into our new forums? Or possibly all unread topics, regardless of age?

The search feature is working, but it has to build an index first. That means indexing every word in every post - and there's quite a few of them. It kills the server too, so we can only do it in short bursts overnight. I suspect that's probably the issue you've run into - it will get resolved.

BBcode tags - we don't use these any more. But most, if not all, of these features have been replicated in the new editor. What were you missing?

Totally agree on the profile links. It's on the to-do list.

i guess it had something to do with you moving things/recategorizing or whatever but anyway its not a problem now just realized i could click the header 'last post' to sort them the way i prefer

ok the forums are bringing up all really old posts now. it seems when someone edits a post, instead of having a separate edit date it alters the actual post timestamp.

user karm015 seems to want to erase his history here so edtiting all his posts AZIDE style which is all good but now all these ancient posts are at the top of the list of all the boards lol, brings up a good bug to fix.

visiting the main page (gymratnation.co.nz) gives me this set of error messages

Apologies to anyone who tried to log in via the old www.nzbodybuilding.co.nz address today.

We do have a redirecting page in place, but apparently as we started a new month today, the system took it down automatically. Instead it put up a message saying that the website was unavailable, possibly due to non payment of hosting fees. That's a little embarassing!

Anyway, it's sorted now, and the redirect page is back. And I promise - I HAD paid all the fees!

Of course, the moral of the story is this... You should all update your bookmarks to www.gymnation.co.nz.

*ok*

Odd. It looks fine to me. Is it still doing it for you?

Logged out and logged back in, yup it's still doing it.

The rest of the site still seems to function as normal, no idea what undefined property it is going on about but maybe the devs could look further in to the referenced code block.

Same thing in Firefox 21.0 as well as Chrome 27.0.1453.116 m

[edit] another problem that seems to be happening now.. when i go to comment on any new topic that i just opened, it gives this error message and I have to reload page again before it lets me submit the comment. In the latest attempt, I had gone to comment within like a minute of opening the topic so it couldn't have timed out already unless the timeouts are set really low

The form has become outdated. Copy any unsaved work in the form below and then reload this page.
