best bcaa for pre-workout

For the unenlightened (me), what are the amino acids that should be in that ratio?

And why that specific ratio? Do BCAAs not work like other dietary supps where your body absorbs what it needs and pisses the rest out?

Supplementing with just leucine alone will not result in optimal effects if the rest of your diet is low in protein. This is because other BCAAs (isoleucine and valine) will be preferentially oxidized and lead to a BCAA imbalance that compromises anabolism. The 4:1:1 ratio is sufficient but and 8:1:1 ratio will maximize availability.

I find mTORbolic 8:1:1 BCAA's VERY effective in aiding my recovery during larger muscle group training. For smaller groups...arms, hams, and even chest where I have some genetic advantages, I don't use them.

This makes my 25 serving pot last about two months, so is good value. Like pre workouts, used daily they can be a crutch and costly. Unless your an endurance athlete riding frequent big sessions you can use them sparingly to get both optimal results and cost efficiency.

The version I use has both Powergrape which is an anticatabolic and beetroot extract in it, which is great for endurance, particularly effective on volume training....this is also why the Kiwi Burger is best, it has beetroot !

First time I used an intra training amino formula of this standard I didn't notice anything after a week, so went off, that next week (off it) I felt like a ketogenic hit and run victim.

Good stuff works, cheap stuff....is cheap.

Hadn't considered that - I guess you get caught up in routinely using it every session but if you have an advantage of thickness else where then may help in balancing other body parts.

the on amino-enegry doesnt have the amino ratio on the back, the greatest ingredients seem to be taurine, L-glutamine, L-arginine, and L-eucine.

from a standard serving you get 5grams of protein
