Can one of you experienced guys make a thread about how to spot a fake natural? I know you guys hate those claiming to be natural when their not.

Would be curious to know what to look for, good idea with the thread btw education should be the first step in any life changing decision.

I don't think it deserves its own thread... well I don't want to be the one starting it off! :pfft:

It's usually easy to tell. With beginners it may not be though, Leeroid for example... I'd put him as a natty. :P

In real life, once you've been on gear you can spot most users a mile away. If you can't spot someone as a gear user, then it's usually because they are not serious enough or have just began.

There's no sure fire way of telling though. I used to get accused of gearing up in my first year of training by a big fella. He might not have seen me as being big (because I wasn't), but he did see my personality traits that lead to my starting gear. You can tell a lot about a person by observing them enough.

So, he's bigger than you, but weaker. He could just have better genetics and/or trains in the hypertrophic range more than you do, or he knows how to eat.

Deadlifts are a poor indicator when it comes to correlating strength and size with gear usage. Many bodybuilders don't even deadlift. Light ass weights with lots of volume can create a lot of size if you feed yourself enough food! What you think are light ass weights... might be the weights you yourself should start using if you want to grow. I'd probably grow more if I lightened my exercises up a bit and did more volume... but I like lifting heavy shit too much myself. :)

Really, if it's not obvious that someone's on gear when you look at them... then you should just stop looking at that person. If you're thinking of using gear and just want to look like someone where you have to guess whether they're on gear or not... then you shouldn't use gear. Rule 1. Only use gear if you want to look like a freak.

Ok so when i see a guy with very large muscular definition that looks like he has very little knowledge, struggles to deadlift 140kg (I'm skinny as f*ck as can deadlift 150kg for 5-6) yet he is very well build and can only manage 2 reps on his first set? Also i see him wandering around the gym lifting light ass weights (noticed it over a number of days, he happens to workout when i do my rowing). Are these good indications of enhancement?

This has no significance to this thread and is pointless, if your that concerned about it make your own thread and stop derailing this one.

Ha... thanks for the advise.

Wasn't that i was comparing myself to him, just got bored during my rowing so was people watching. Happen to noticed him over consecutive days so was trying to figure it out. Thanks for the clarification and i have started eating more recently so hopefully i will start adding size (Mite be hard given i've starting swimming a lot more).

So you support the time under tension theory rather then how heavy the weight is? And if so would i be better off doing 1 type of each every week?

For example: I do Legs->Push->Pull->legs->push->pull->rest->Repeat

So if i did 1 high rep and 1 low rep workout for each every week i would be better off?

Theres no difference between a natty and a juicer, just level of development lol

This

There are some real big guys who have obviously juiced though but they wouldnt be mistaken for natural (and probably wouldn't claim it either)

If you don't obviously look like you juice when you are juiced up on a big cycle then IMO you're doing something wrong. For example, everyone at work comments about me juicing, and they're just regular people. You can just tell when someone's junked up on gear. If you can't tell... then who cares - they're insignificant.

Lance Armstrong? haha, never would have guessed.

also female sprinters in the Olympics, 100% certain they juicing(probably infertile also)

anyway nice thread idea, educating the masses! Gj

Well... Those people are not juicing with the goal of muscular development over everything else. I'm strictly talking about bodybuilders.

Why do you care so much about others juicing anyway? Unless its in a competing sport where everyone is tested, does it really matter.

Well of course if ur fucking huge youre gonna get called out on gear. Everyone at work accuses me of being on steroids so for the general public anyone that lifts is on steroids

No. There's a clear distinction. The general public will make jokes about someone that lifts and gains a bit of size that they're on steroids. But, the people at work who are around you day in and day out, they *know* that you are on steroids. Just testosterone, I can conceal it... but if I go on deca, tren, or dbol... then the comments just start flying at me. There is a difference because those compounds create many more indicators for people to pick up on.

No one really cares if you use drugs, just make it clear that you did...

see what i'm saying?

Yes I see what ur saying, they should give up (potentially) millions of dollars in sponsorhip, be viewed as a cheater by the whole world and open urself up to legal action (posession of steroids is illegal in case u didnt know) just so some boys watching tv dont get unrealistic expectations. Seems legit

Ive been on tren and dbol and acted exactly the same so not sure where ur coming from lol.

My work mates are just joking around though, although I do think some suspect it, simply because of the rate Im gaining at

My inside sources tell me you've only been running a small amount of Tren. Tren some more and report back. ;-)

I'm not just talking about acting. Other indicators as well such as skin tone, bloat... these are very evident especially with Dbol.

You haven't exactly gained that much weight yet mate... once you gain another 10-20kg and start using more, you will see that it has quite an effect on how you present to others. I become quite authoritative and direct when I'm geared up, others notice it.

I'm sorry but WTF?

Perhaps you shouldn't have taken steroids in the first place! PERHAPS they shouldn't even be part of sport! as they are to blame for the unreasonable expectations and the need for steroids! Just another money making scheme.

Perhaps you don't need millions and the respect of your fans is more important?

I really just can't sum it up any other way....

Lol if u think admitting u took steroids is gonna get u respect.

Mate what are u doing on here anyway, all u do is ask stupid questions that are of no use to anybody and derail threads

depends who your are referring to in terms of who you want respect from?

the general population? no probably not...

some industry insiders/knowledgeable individuals whos opinions matter to you? Yes more then likely, if your drug use was obvious or put you at a huge advantage over others.

They made the decision to use steroids mate... they should be big enough and ugly enough to take responsibility for their mistake (Tiger Woods did). Suck it up and tell the truth.

Good question btw, i've got no idea anymore.

Thanks for the information I declare war.

Stay natural mate. Good on you.
