":1a8ub5sk]i pin quads now and is bit painful/hit a nerve most times. much prefer delts.

might switch back since only pinning 0.6ml e2d now rather than 1.7ml ed.

That's why I hate quads. And there's some really big veins running through there... don't want to hit. It's a really dense muscle group so they don't take much volume.

I like doing

Chest

Glutes

Lats

Biecps

- There's a million places on chest where you can pin. Outer chest is the best place.

- Heaps of strategies with glutes. One good one I've found over the last year is to sit down. Glutes will get nice and tight... use a real short pin (1/2inch) and inject side on. Takes 2mL easy there.

- Lats... put one arm behind up behind your head and pin your lats with the other arm. Takes a bit of practice but it's a good site.

I've only done quads so far left and right, outside only up and down - 10 weeks in have bled on with-drawl once.. and maybe flicked a nerve only slightly once~ maybe I just have fat legs cos if theres spots even less painless than this woah! Have had no blood on aspiration at all either~ Mind you I use a 23g 3/4 so it's pretty little.

Maybe my legs are just fat sausages ;o

Try my advice. Also, look for veins when you inject. If you can't see them then you need to do more cardio :pfft:

I find looking away whilst pushing needle or covering my hand over the needle as it goes in helps a lot.

Alot of things are going through your mind whilst you do it such as 'how did I get to doing this', 'what would my mum think', 'next stop, meth', so removing the thought of the needle going in and what it looks like helps me.

Haven't done meth.. yet.

The ratio of lava lamp draws in quads has only been about one a year. Hardly anything to worry about. Keeping it to the side of the quad is best for me.

Though we all have different vein maps (excluding arteries) so we must all find our sweet spots through trial and error.

And with low body fat you can easily see the surface veins.

How about the glutes? Seems the quads are the preferred place, just curious. Been sitting here for a couple of weeks with a cycle...then I watched Strangeways Prison..mad steroid user stabs and rips partners eyes out. Still hasn.t put me off, my girlfriend is blind!

First one down, 25g to glutes. First attempt didnt go well. Got pin in, asperaited, but then paniced and withdrew. Gave it 30 mins put a new pin on and tryed again (much more comfitable about it this time half knowing what to expect) and didnt feel a thing. Actually looking forward to the next one! Thanks everyone for the advice, made it all a lot easier!
