I just started a new account on here because i only wanna post in this thread really.

i wanna do this because my name has been bought up in this thread, on my banning the reason was offering aas and i dont think its fair that this website imply and lets everyone on here assume thats what i was doing.

so firstly i would like to say i did not offer cande00 any AAS.

cande00 (psuedonym) started the thread and obviously people private messaged that alias. i did too. my message said something along the lines of "i can help you out" (i cannot see my message because i cant get onto my old account). no where did i mention, steroids or drugs. i mentioned help. for someone who works in media i personally thought he would be a little better at interpretation. help is another word for advice. im yet to find a thesaraus where help = steroids. i dont do bussiness on this forum weather is be personal training or nutrition for cash i get their mobile phone number and everything is dealt with outside of the forum. so i find it hard to believe i would offer you steroids at all let alone offer you steroids over this forum.

so if you want to ban me for something else thats fine just do that though. post the messages you got sent up on the forum for everyone to see. my names got mentioned and all i offered you was "help" but i dont see the capo committee members name anywhere in this thread and he sent you a whole detailed price list.

so you know, fair is fair, all or nothing... dont start a thread and half share the details post them all up or just dont at all.

so what you got to say about all that huh?

Gotta agree with Grover here - Tom makes a good case.

HOLY MACKEREL!!!! Any capo nz crew want to comment here? Not a good look for you guys :(

Hope this doesn't become the norm in capo nz, it would be a shame for nz powerlifting as a whole if capo nz went down this road :(

I'm not tryna start rumours and shit I'm just saying its fucken bullshit that my name mentioned in this forum when I didn't even have anything to do with this thread and other ppl who did aren't named.

If someone offered u steroids what's the big secret of posting it on the forum... If they did it they did it then prove it dnt just accuse it.

I tryed to email u and one of ur mods but just got ignored.

So cough up with proof of my message offering you it otherwise if you don't then everyone will just know I didn't.

I'm not a CAPO NZ committee member, just a regular member. Both my son and I have competed for CAPO NZ and have socialized/talked with a lot of other CAPO NZ members. Not once at any time have either of us been offered steroids or prices of steroids.

Granted it's known that we are both natural and have no desire to use steroids.

Are there steroid users/ sellers in CAPO NZ? Users, maybe. What a person does in their personal life is no concern of mine and none of my business. Sellers? No idea. All I know is we've never been offered any.

I'd hate for all CAPO NZ members to be tarred with the same brush. I'm sure there are a lot of other members that are completely natural too. It will be a sad day if a whole federation and the people in it have their reputations tarnished because of one or two people. (If that is even the case.)

Is everyone in the NZPF steroid free and there is no selling of steroids by its members? Again, I have no idea. You hear rumors and stories but which are actually true?

In the end I hope people can see past their noses and realise that just because one person does something (or is rumored to do something) then not everyone associated with them is guilty of it as well.

Rumours? What rumours? The only rumours come from people who have no idea what they are talking about.

One day you guys should actually show some proof of the stuff u guys say. It's boarding on slander and is just a pathetic attempt to undermine athletes that don't need to set up there own fed to win a medal

Like it pabs, who gives 2 stuffs, it they are part of capo, nzpf, a truck driver doctor or what ever, it doesn't at all reflect on the fed

if someone involved in bodybuilding sells gear does it make them Or there fed look bad? I'm sure it's all run of the mill stuff, not to mention its a non tested fed so seriously who cares?

Iv been involved with capo from the start and never had/seen or been offered anything "steroid" related, just a good crew wanting too smash weights and enjoy a beer afterwards

Good post Pabs - yep, you're so right - tarring everyone because of one person is not good. You're right too - I don't know if NZPF is steroid free - but I do know that the NZPF promote drug free sport.

From an organisation point of view - I know that NZPF promote being drug and AAS free, I'm not sure that Capo NZ do the same.

My point being that if a Capo NZ Committee member has been/is a dealer in steroids - someone who has been part of recruiting new members like yourself and your son - how much has Capo NZ pushed being drug free and AAS free?

I don't think it's a great look, not just for Capo NZ, but for NZ powerlifting as a whole. Just remember in the general public outside of powerlifting, people don't know what Capo NZ or NZPF is - it's just powerlifting to them.

My hope, was that Capo NZ isn't heading in to full drug or AAS use by not promoting drug free sport. It would be a sad day for NZ powerlifting if this was the case

No offense was intended mate. I was just saying you hear rumors everywhere. About CAPO, about NZPF, about bodybuilders, about athletes in other sports codes etc etc.

It was definitely not a dig at NZPF as a fed or the people who compete in it. Hell, my training partner is an NZPF member and competes regularly and is widely respected. I hold no ill feeling towards NZPF at all. I even go and support my friend at his comps.

As for the not so subtle dig about setting up a fed just to win a medal. I don't give a rats ass about winning a medal. I'm 40 years old, raised 3 kids and have a great wife. If I need a medal to validate my own self worth then shame on me.

I compete with CAPO because I love lifting weights, like the people that are involved with it and because the venues/comps/membership fees etc are suitable for me.

Does this automatically make me anti-NZPF? By no means. I still have the utmost respect for the members/lifters/organisers.

This federation rivalry bullshit pisses me off. Maybe the feds have different methods or ideals. I DON'T CARE. All I care about is that we all do what we love....and that's lift the damn weight.

:pfft: :pfft:

I think every one needs to claim down  ... I have read the whole thread its all just rumours at this stage a warning has been given out a couple of people have made comments no proof has been published from what I can read ? all these comments etc etc doesn't do both feds any justice of the hard work going on behind the scenes just because its an untested fed which everyone knows doesn't mean ya jacked or selling.......

Its two Powerlifting Feds offering different opportunties and different set up opportunties in each lift, you can choose who you want to lift for doesn't mean its better or worst than the other fed so why the consisted bagging on each fed?, BB there have been people banded in the pass from NZPF for using and completeing you know this so why are you asking for proof mate? As well run as NZPF is they will still catch out people trying to cheat in a tested fed thats just life .....WADA post people that have been caught on there web site so its easy to keep track off that question.

Peace guys

No hate here RM - lots of good guys in Capo NZ.

Just alarming when a capo nz committtee member has been pointed out in the steroid selling sting. Not good for business :(

I'm not privy to know what goes on at capo nz comps, but I do know there's a good bunch of peeps part of capo nz.

Like I said, it would be a sad day for NZ powerlifting if capo nz become full of AAS users :( But if guys like yourself in capo nz are promoting drug free lifting, then that's what counts - even if capo nz dosen't promote drug free lifting.
