So I was googling round to see if this might be the reason I feel a little sickly in the AM since swapping back to morning workouts and stumbled across this;

I was told by a friend I should probably take MT during the cycle to help my liver etc etc - I trust him and so I didn't bother arguing since it's also pretty cheap blah blah. Is the above accurate in any degree? Also I'm on 500p/w test-e so just curious is it actually beneficial to be taking this or some form of other liver support multi? Thoughts/feelings/selfienudes x

It's so cheap, I'm not sure why you wouldn't want to supplement with it, regardless of cycle let alone all year round.

I totally agree.

It's excellent health insurance & increases the likelihood of all liver function measures being within range.

Anyone had bloods on and off? A few meta analyses say that milk thistle doesn't do shit. Anyone tried liv.52, udca or other alternatives and have bloods?

Also read that milk thistle potentially downregulates androgen receptors. That was from anthony roberts though and ive always thought he was less than reliable

Im 95% sure MT is what's been making me feel a bit iffy in the morning, screwing with my appetite as well so definitely not going there again. Will probably try some other form of liver support thought getting on in the years so might as well help out where I can hah

That link in the first post quotes at the end of the extract where it was taken from;

Milk Thistle – good for the liver, bad for androgen receptors | Anthony Roberts

Have a good friend who has used MT over the last 10 years, when ever her body is run down she reckons MT actually makes her bloat and feel tired. Seems she can only use it when relatively healthy. Maybe it adds a bit of stress to the liver.
