For those lifters who are interested in qualifying for the Capo National Championship 2013 in Tasmania here is a link explaining the qualifying standards.

If you are intending to use the upcoming All Comers 3 Lift as your qualifier please let officials now prior to lifting.

Yeah bro Wayne has organized it - the list is growing every day of international powerlifters.

He confirmed last week Richard “The Ant” Hawthorne was registering under CAPO and will be lifting under the CAPO banner at the event.

Tasmania’s first ever Strength and Fitness Expo will play host to twenty exhibitor booths from some of our industries most respected brands, and companies from all over Australia.

Spectators can enjoy the following competitions and demonstrations – Arm Wrestling, Crossfit, MMA, Boxing, Bodybuilder appearances, Fitness and Bikini competition, and Zumba.

Our main event: CAPO National Powerlifting and Bench Press Championships - it's the primary event on the CAPO calendar and it promises to be the biggest and the best powerlifting event ever held in Australia

1. Eric Lilliebridge - possibly the greatest junior Powerlifter of All-Time. Going for All-Time WR's

3. Sam Byrd - All-time squat record holder, RAW specialist and has an Equipped 499kg squat.

4. Richard “the Ant” Hawthorne - pound for pound possibly the strongest man in the world, going for an 11 times body-weight total.

5. Garrett Griffin - 250kg RAW bench press at under 90kg!!

6. Chad W Smith - 900lb RAW squatter.

Finland

1. Anna Karrila - Female World Champion, and World record holder, and Finnish Bodybuilding Champion.
