How big is the difference between using water or milk in a protein shake?

Alot of people say water..but I prefer milk..what is the best type of milk to use? I usually use 2% or fat free..

When i use to take them i'd use water because it mixes almost 321908320x better than when i tried it with milk... maybe my shaker was crap but when i used milk i had chunky shit - didn't mix properly.

edit: then again i was using powder milk, so it pretty much got mixed into milk, then mixed again into a protein shake, so that was pretty bad on my end.

If you want more calories, add milk. I personally prefer water as it's not so thick, although that yellow top milk mixes okay'ish

prefer water by far now. mixes better and digests better. doesn't make me feel full/bloated so I can get back to eating whole foods sooner after the shake. used to have with milk and can't deny there is a big difference in flavor (milk so much tastier) but you get used to water within a week.
