Gyno! :(

look on the bright-side...now you have something to fondle when your missus isn't around :pfft:

see a health professional, the same one that prescribed you the Testosterone dosage that you currently enjoy.

How much Test are you taking btw, and what bodyfat are you (too lazy to re-read your previous posts mate)

Do something about it then

yeah like what?

Problems, cant get in to the docs until Monday to get Arimidex..

Not sure another doc would understand and give me meds to sort this.

Will 3 days before getting in to the docs really make any difference??

So I'm waiting this out until Monday unfortunately.. And then my doc doesn't understand any of this anyway.. *sigh* I have been in the process of compiling info for him.. Which is like the blind leading the blind. lol

Another problem, I have no idea how long I have had Gyno. One nipple felt a little itchy this morning was scratching away and noticed a very well formed hard fibrous and rather large lump in behind each nipple..

I don't think that's developed over night.. I could have had this for years possibly?

How do you tell how long you have had it for.. Is this permanent or is it something that has just popped up in the last few days or weeks??

Will taking anything now reverse it?

I guess because the nipples are only starting to feel a little puffy and a little itchy now, (only very slight symptoms) then at least taking something now will stop it from getting worse??

I think I need to see some one that knows a hell of a lot more about this than myself or my doctor.. I feel a mens clinic appointment coming on.

Will waiting this out to Monday make any difference??

Also I don't like the idea of taking arimidex as I understand its carcinogenic.. Is there anything else that would be worth considering mentioning to my doc if I end up just seeing him??

Im on 6 caps per day.. 2 x 3 x a day. And Im feeling great on this dose.

Bodyfat.. I was 117 kg when I originally started TRT.. Now down to 109kg and still losing weight. Need to get down to some where around 92 kg give or take so still probably carrying at least 17kg or more of too much fat..

are these 6 capsules the Andriol Testocaps 40mg?

testosterone undecanoate - yep, same thing but different brand

From all I have read, taking 6 caps is about the correct dose.. I read where some one recommended taking 15 per day lol..

The bioavailability of andriol is like 7%, its sweet FA. So, your dose of 6 caps a day (240mg) is really only like 17mg/day. Which works out to be around 120mg/week which is a typical HRT dose.

As for the gyno, you may have had pubertal gyno which is now flaring up because of the added testosterone, If you are a high body fat % you may also encounter gyno problems. If this is the case, best bet is to drop some body fat and get on the arimidex. Ask your doctor about it but 3 days waiting won't really matter. Depending on your doctor, his first step may be just to lower your HRT dosage instead of prescribing you another drug, so go in ready to sell him on the idea of an aromatase inhibitor. You may have to go underground.

EDIT: Itchy nipples is generally the first sign of gyno developing, tenderness, pain, discharge all come later down the line, waiting a few days won't matter.

The carcinogenicity of arimidex is largely confined to the female reproductive tract, which you don't have. It has been shown in doses exceeding 5-50mg/kg/day over years to increase incidence of thyroid and lymphoid tumours. That means a daily dose in excess of 500mg/day for you.

oh cool.

the internet says that studies taking 80mg twice per day the blood levels ranged wildly from 11nmols to 60nmols. Not a good even source of Test, and likely to exasperate E2 levels making it even less healthy doing HRT this way.

go to the mens clinic, get them to sort you out. your doctor by your own reckoning isn't the best person to administer advice on estrogen control if he can't administer Testosterone without your help.

My 1st ,2nd and 3rd cycles (after a dabble at 28) was through a men's clinic and you learn from a doctor who's seen everything from minimal use to high-end use, from estrogen control to receptor mapping techniques. You will walk out of there relieved that you just talked to someone real who knows wtf they are talking about.

cheers mate, yep about what I thought..

I suspect you are right about this being pre existing.. I don't think its just happened.. there are quite large areas of fibrous tissue under the nipples so I think its been there for a while.. And yep, losing fat is my priority at the mo..

There was some slight itching this early morning..

And now Im not sure if the nipple area is feeling puffy or whether I'm now imagining it.. Might have come from when I used decca many years ago, for aprox 6 months with out any testosterone.. I was probably just to fat to notice it..

Bit of a shock to feel those fibrous lumps there though.

Your words are comforting, as its great to hear Im not going to grow big / bigger titties over night lol I'll catch up with some one (doctor) on Monday to see whats what...

cheers for the good advice mate..

I'll take your advice mate and I will go see them..

And yes, that is the one big drawback with taking the orals... You do have an issue with Test levels being all over the place. Possible huge spikes and big lows.. These caps are brilliant in every way except for the above issue which I admit has constantly being on my mind..

maybe it is that this issue has started to cause issues but from what I have read, this form of TRT is considered one of the safest.. And I have done a lot of reading on it..

Anyway, regardless, I'll go see the mens clinic...

its a shame the original doc I used to see about his is just a little to far away and too hard to see.. Oh well. mens clinic here I come..

Will make an appointment to go see the mens clinic Monday..

cheers Android
