Is the HCG Diet using Real HCG

Recommended Posts

All the hype around HCG diets using HCG drops, are any of them real HCG?

Could you buy their drops and inject?

Probably a stupid question.

Is HCG restricted in NZ.

The Hcg Diet does work if you find professional grade homeopathic HCG drops & are motivated to comlete the rigid diet proceedure

You cannot inject the drops as they contain other compounds & the solution is not sterile

Hcg in its whole form is a prescription medicine in NZ

I have to step in here and say: No, the homeopathic HCG drops do not work

Homeopathy is not based on science. The HCG drops contain HCG at such a low concentration that it will not be possible to have any effect on the body.

Homeopathy should be outright banned, and people promoting it should be penalised as they are nothing but con-artists (or highly deluded).

The diet will work, because of the extreme caloric restriction - 0% of the resultant fat loss will be attributable to the HCG drops themselves. The diet is dangerous though, as 500 calories per day for an extended period of time can cause major stress on the body.

Oh, and by the way, the HCG diet has recently been banned in the United States:

You mean highly DILUTED?

Think I am going to take a scoop of WPI, dilute it a few million times in water, add some vodka and sell it as HOMEOPATHIC WPI. :rockout:

No.

If it is a "professional grade" (lawl) homeopathic product, then by definition it has nothing it it lol. Even if the drops had real hcg in them, swallowing them would do no good. Guys are selling these "drops" for hundreds of bucks ffs. All they have in them is water, maybe some junk herbal extract of some kind.

Even if you injected real pharma-grade Hcg, it wouldn't make any significant difference to your weight loss. There is no physiological science behind it. The original research has been debunked. It's the 500 calories of apples that make you lose weight lol

The hcg diet is well marketed broscience, is not a healthy way to lose fat and just teaches people that crash dieting and magic bullets are the way to go. In fact I wouldn't even call it broscience, it's just bullshit

I tried to persuade a 'friend' (I'd known her for 4 years, same wider circle) to not do the Hcg diet, that it was unsafe and a scam etc etc. I made better suggestions, offered to help her set up a plan, all this through her FB status and she deleted me as a friend and hasn't talked to me since haha. She was using it to look better on holiday in Thailand, and has reportedly gained all the weight she lost back very quickly :pfft:

my wife is currently on this stuff, I tried to tell her that my feelings towards the product were very low and that I failed to see how this stuff could work (I did my own research into it), unfortunatly she is sold on the hype and believes this stuff to be the real deal to help her regain her pre baby body. I hope this isn't one of those told you so moments, but somehow I think it will be. maybe I might talk her into some clen :pfft:

That'd be the ultimate dilution... maybe it'd be too strong then?

For the lols ... this is from the last time homeopathy came up here:

When I did my HCG diet I used real HCG of course and it works, around 5000iu over 5 days with 4 days off then repeat.

My cals were still 2000 and I lost a lot of fat, balls were like mellons.

The original HCG diet works if with the correct dosage. But MT2 works just as well and is readilly available and easy to get.

Question for any one who can answer, the HCG diet is a LH injectable compound, would a FSH compound have the same result?

Again not interested in "HCG diet", just wondering if it might be a way to access real HCG. If any of them used real "HCG" so you could sign up, and get scripts for HCG. HCG is great on cycle in small dosages long term. 250-500iu twice a week.

Hard to get HCG here.
