labourers diet needed

Switching from eating in an office to making the calories add up as a roofer.

Needing a new plan and menu items.

I figure I can smash through a 950cal oats/peanut butter combo first thing plus a protein shake to get the day started.

What the hell do ya take to the site to keep going through the day? Maybe good to avoid chilled stuff as I dunno how well a chiller bag will work just yet.

Training will be after work. Looks like a lot more carbs are needed before I get near a gym.

Hit me with ya 'lunch' ideas fullas!

I would just eat the exact same foods. I leave chicken, eggs etc. in my bag all day. Just wouldn't be able to heat it.

Edit- except obviously more of them.

Good to know spoiling takes a while.

The thing is I struggle getting the carbs. Without meaning to, I've gone keto twice in the past 3 months.

Defo picturing a lot of eggs. CBF with breads so perhaps fruit and baked goods will provide the numbers. It turns out one can easily bake edible stuff that has insane calories. Fatties eating cookies is no coincidence folks!

Where is the Martha Stewart sub-forum??

Commence bakers bulk

You're obviously going to need to eat more, and particularly more carbs to provide the extra energy you need now.

Accidental keto?! I can't understand how that would happen!

Anyway, cans of baked beans and creamed rice will be your friends if you CBF cooking. Some brands don't even need a can opener to get into - perfect for a building site.

Cooking up some brown rice with sliced chicken breast plus 2 x egg whites then taking to site in a container works for me. Rolled oats whizzed up wi protien powder for morning break..bannanas and almonds for snacks...

Although the mince and cheese pie gang think am a strange dude... :pfft:

Yeah not a groovy thing. Lack of discipline with the diet and faulty ghrelin signalling need to be overcome.

Yeah defo seeing a lot of beans in my future. Bring on the 4 for $5 special!

Nice. That sounds like good lazy food. I'll have to dig the rice cooker and griller out of storage and start the production line!
