Hi all; I stumbled across this site completely by accident. Have been into fitness for about two years now ( nowhere as hard as some of you guys and gals though ) and have now decided to go for broke. I am finding your information on the forums very helpful.

Have now started weighing all food before it goes into my gob and am recording Calories, Protein, Carbs and Fat intake everyday.

Having trouble eating enough for my Carbs and Ptrotein requirement, but some modifications on diet and I'll be there.

FYI: 40 yrs old; 85 kg; 176 cm. Weights x 4 days. Cardio x 3 days.

Thank you all for your posts on the forums - great motivation for a newbie.

Thanks Nosher; Really enjoying it thus far. Now that I am weighing and recording everything that goes in; I have a much better idea as to how unbalanced my diet was over the last 2 years. I reckon once I refine my workout plan, I'll be set as I am finally realising that the majority of the hard work is a disciplined diet - and funnily enough it's not actually that hard. I have taken a before pic. which I've hidden away and will pull out in 6 months time to see any difference.

I must say, it is really awesome of the people on this site to share and help so much - information from people who are actually doing it and have been through it all.
