Newbie chick to body sculpting

Hey all,

I'm wanting to seriously get into body sculpting, sick of looking average, wanting to get awesome. 25 y/o female, about 170cm, 65kg, and currently just doing a generic gym routine and wanting to step it up but lacking info and not interested in PT sessions.

I'm an ex-martial artist, have suffered pretty severe knee injuries resulting in 3 cartilage laser surgeries and one ACL repair so gotta be pretty careful with the old knees.

ALSO I'm vegan, so need to be sure I'm getting adequate protein.

Any tips for nutrition etc would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ressey! Yeah, vegetarian bodybuilding is hard enough - vegan bodybuilding would be even harder.

Having said that, we've had the vegan/vegetarian topic come up a few times here over the years. Do a search in the Diet forum, and hopefully you'll find some useful stuff.

Assuming you are talking about just doing body sculpting training? .... not competitive.

If you are looking at competing you are going to need to get some good advice from someone that knows how to work around your injuries and can navigate a plan for your nutrition. Being vegan can be a real disadvantage - not saying it cant be done but you again are going to need good advice - may want to reconsider the stance on a PT - or do you already know what you are doing?

My first piece of advice would be to stop being vegan. What's wrong with free range eggs and stuff like that?
