Arnold the douche

Terminator 2 was a huge part of my up bringing. I remember my dad having the movie stowed away in video cabnet and said it was not for us kids when I asked him if I could watch it. One day when he was at work I snuck out the vhs tape and watched the whole thing twice. I was amazed by the badass robot who could crush a man and take on shotgun with minimal damage.

I then had the oppurtunity to watch Predator at my friends house when his parents were away. Once again my good friend Arnold beat the shit out the badies and dropping the cheesy one-liners. Arnold quickly became my hero and muscles became the signature of success.

Arnold put muscle on the map, brought bodybuilding up from the underground and put more people into the gym.

But is the man a douche?

He was the peak of macho films in the 80's and many of us looked at him as legend.

The only douche certifying thing he has done was get that ugly maid pregnant. With all the hotness in the world (of which most suck it up with anyone of influence) he chose that burrito?

When you are Arnie cool, you don't even have to act well. I reviewed the original Conan last year, and was shocked at my teen self that raged on it. But like a good Tarantino flick, they are worth the cheese.

He is The Man, and he is just a man, at the same time. But influenced people positively in my opinion. Taught us to kick ass, and drop cheesy one liners for the bitches.
