Weigh in: 9.00am

Women: All weight classes

Men: All weight classes

Start: 11.00am

Parking/ Venue: Plenty of parking is available outside the venue.

The competition venue is situated 5 minutes from the East Tamaki turn off from State Highway One.

Event Details: Use the entry form attached to register on the day. Registration will take place at the venue, followed by the weigh in. The gym is available to warm up in before the competition; this is next to the competition hall.

This competition is open to anyone who wants to give powerlifting a go. Lifters are not required to be registered members unless they have lifted in a competition before. If you have previously lifted in a Novice competition held by a provincial association you will have to register with the APA and NZPF before lifting in this competition.

The minimum gear requirements consist of a pair of shorts, plain t-shirt, long socks and sports shoes. Approved IPF gear is optional and will be checked by referee’s at the time of weigh in. Titan wraps, soft suits will be available for purchase on the day of the event. You have the option of lifting equipped or un-equipped in this competition.

Refreshments: There will be drinks in the bar upstairs at the conclusion of the competition.

Entry Fee: Entry fee per lifter is $20.00 per person.
