Is Natty actually Natty in sports?

Cool video- thanks for posting.

Having played a lot of rugby league, I wonder if it is as widespread in NZ rugby league with the high number of Poly boys playing. Some of those boys are just monstrous and ridiculously strong naturally.

But a mate of mine who made it in Oz playing league reckons it is dead common over there.

yea

alistair overeem & chael sonnen do this

talked to jonah lomu once and he said he was doing this too back in the 90's

not sure about the new zealand guys, but loads of the guys in the UFC are on atleast TRT

yeah i hear this too. pisses me off that someone (i think nick diaz)can get a suspension for smoking weed that i doubt enhances his performance, then other fighters get a doctors note for low test and get prescribed and get theraputic use exemption .

fair enough if they actually had a problem causing low test but how likely is that really at 25 years old or whatever

It's is pretty common in MMA so I would imagine it is the same for UFC.

A friend of mine's sister works for New Zealand Drug Testing in Sports and said people are on TUE (TRT) but it is supposedly closely monitored by doctors with regular testing.

Nether the less seems like a massive loop hole.

I second the post/comments on league players in NZ. Im not sure how wide spread it is today but back when i was playing (early to mid 90's) guys were on stuff especially in top grade. I never did it myself (srs) but couple guys I knew got done for it during random drug testing. So with sport in NZ being far more professional with money/big contracts etc in the works, I can imagine the pressure there must be for amateur players looking to turn pro.
