Hi all,

A little about me...

I compete in shape / figure / bodybuilding in NZ and have been training for this since Feb 2012. I live in Auckland and my favourite food is salmon...

Not sure what people ususally write here :P

I signed up as I'm after the answer to the following question:

In New Zealand, what are the tax rules and obligations for sporting sponsorship, gifts and donations given by individuals to support a person in their training? The sponsorship / gifts / donations are provided to support training and are not an exchange for advertising / promotions or work of any type.

This is the first time I haven't been able to get what I want from Google. I posted this in the general chit chat section as I'm not sure where it should go!
