Recommendation for a sports doctor/physician in NZ please

Hi there,

I am a runner and have been dealing with Iliotibial Band syndrome for the past 4+ months. I would value a recommendation for a knowledgeable sports physician/doctor anywhere in the North Island. Preferably who knows about biomechanics and knee injuries.

I know of Ruth Highet but cannot get in to see her till mid February.

Hello

Ra Durie in Palmerston North is supposed to be good. Dr Brougham is also a good orthopedic surgeon (also in P. North), he specialises in knees and shoulders and is a former rugby player. Might only be able to see him by referral though.
