Ok I have no idea who Raff590 is. Iv been in Fiji the last 5 days I just got back yday. Ill show u my boarding pass if you want with my name on it. So I wasn't even involved in this. This is either legitimate or someone's setting me up! Lol. I ain't seen Jacko so I dunno, sorry can't help there. Hmm mystery eh..

I will say tho, that Raff590 sounds like a good kunt and I agree with everything he said pretty much. And yeah he sounds like me why.... Because he spoke fucken sense.

A 3 hour arm workout is just unnecessary IMO. It's fucken stupid and it wouldn't do shit all in the way of "shocking" muscles or whatever it was suppose to do.

P.s - just like to say again it wasn't me.

There's no point in going on 'cause he ain't gonna listen to you if he doesn't like you, whether your speaking sense or bullshit. Besides; weren't you going to no longer post in here like 10 pages ago?

...people with degrees go to lectures, read and research information, retain it then pass a test. having a degree doesn't make you intelligent or know any better.

I actually agree with this. Regurgitate the required information, quote the accepted names, and everyone's a winner.

I have a degree too.

Nothing to do with biochemistry, but still...

it is about how you apply that learned knowledge, not whether you passed imo. Like a drivers license... Most of those maggots driving out there have a license, but can they effectively utilise their prior knowledge, and put it to use?

Not say IDW is misguided, or a guru. But even C's get degrees I remember the masses saying, and realised how sad our institutions are. Maybe surgeons need higher pass marks?

Anyways, ITT it is a case of tune in and bite tongue. Some good stuff going on too though.

few lols up in here. I see some of IDWs practices are not the accepting norms amongst gym folk but I'm not sure if it deserves the bagging it has recieved in this this thread. I do admire his willingness to experiment with new training tactics that are against the grain. I wouldn't personally train arms for three hours are let a randomizer determine my workout structure but it is drastic changes that shock the body to stimulate growth and development. I hope IDW keeps us posted on how his training goes and if he gets any reward for trying some 'out there' ideas. All the best with your goals brah

Consistent training and good nutrition is what simulates the body to grow.

Drastic changes to your training program and steroid cycle week to week won't get you far.

I'm all for going against the grain or trying new methods that have some sort of merit to them but I'm starting to get sick of the term "shocking the body into new growth". This is an old concept that is borne from some of the old magazine programs that called for randomizing and changing up exercises sets and reps every workout. It doesn't work (in the way people think it does) and has long since been disproved. You can't shock your body into anything, your body doesn't see stimuli in terms of a squat or a leg press, it only sees it in terms of joint movements and motor units recruited.

Sure a certain amount of variety is needed in order to stimulate the maximum number of fibers available but heavy compound lifts by their nature, require almost complete motor unit recruitment anyway. You are better off sensibly programming your training cycles in such a way that has been proven to work and sticking with it. Not randomly chopping and changing shit in the hopes that your body will accidentally one day be able to lift a certain weight. Just my opinion.

I think this is the most sensible thing i have read on here in ages.

Here's a good quote from Kai Greene:

"In order to stimulate the muscle group, building the mind-muscle connection enough, to be able to control the muscle enough so that you can work it efficiently... If not for overtraining you won't be able to do it sometimes, so you have to just bludgeon the muscle with stimulation, just bludgeon it, just bang bang rep after rep after rep after rep - now you got it!"

I like it.

Friday

Trained Back on Friday, deadlifts were up first, did a couple of sets at 5 plates per side and then a big burn-out set at 4 plates per side. Rack pulls after that up to 8 plates per side, just slow and controlled for 4 reps, 2 second pause between reps. Rest of the workout I just focused on pump. Oh, other than right at the end when I did some T-Bar rows... went up to a big drop on 6.5 plates -> 5 plates -> 4 plates. Some old mates showed up so I Ronnie moded it.

Saturday

Day off, no training or anything! Back felt worked as.

Sunday

I went in to check out Club Physical in West Gate. Pretty decent gym, has everything I'd want and more. One thing I noticed was the big tractor tyre upstairs, if I do join I'm going to have a great time trying to flip that thing around. I've been watching some World's Strongest Man vids before training to get me psyched up, it's inspiring seeing the stuff they lift.

I had done back on Friday and it was starting to feel recovered so I snuck in another workout for the week. Did a super-set workout on Legs. I'll be doing legs again on Friday coming, where the main feature will be Squats, so this workout I didn't do any pressing. I super-set three/four exercises together. Starting with Lying Hamstring Curls, Seated Leg Extensions, then Standing Calf Raises (or seated if that machine was taken). Just went from one machine to the next until I got to full stack on the Leg Extensions (305lbs). The Lying Hamstring Curl Machine had the smallest stack (about 95kg I think?) so I ended up doing about 6 sets at that weight that until I got to full stack on Leg Extensions. Standing Calf Raises went to full stack as well which was about 180kg - jumped in at the middle at the start. Was a great workout, like cardio but full on weights.

Monday

I did shoulders. Managed to rep out 15 full reps on Barbell shoulder press at 100kg, right down to my upper pecs and up again. Followed this up with one set at 120kg for 6 reps. Like WTF? mean :) Watching those World's Strongest Man vids definitely fires me up, just got to imagine pressing those logs and you're in the zone!

Tuesday

Did cardio. 45 minutes on the stationary bike. Also did some big burn-out sets on my rear-delts at the 30 minute mark and at the end. They're really coming up. I'm blasting them every cardio session. Man I love rear delts, you only see big rear delts on the big freaks and genetically gifted... they just scream don't mess with me. Yeah! I order some massive rear delts. Supersized.. one day I'll get them hopefully lol :)

Wednesday

Triceps (with light biceps)

This week I dropped the weights down a bit on the close-grip bench presses. Worked at 130kg for sets of 8-10 on the first push before the drop. Really focused on building a big pump up during the workout. Measured both arms pumped at over 19" AND to top it off I broke into the triple digits!!! 100kg bodyweight on the dot pre training!!! Yee-haa :D

Today

Completely off. Tomorrow is legs... squats first up and the goal is to be fresh as!

Next Monday I've got Chest coming up. I'm just going to do 180kg to get it out of the way. Nothing holding me back now. And, now that I've hit 100kg on the scales... for the rest of this year I'm not going to look at my weight anymore... I'll just be looking in the mirror, until my next blast that is!

Dark side update

Kind of felt like I cheated to get the 100kg bodyweight and extra pump on the arms tho. Gotta admit lol. Apart from eating a tonne of Nutella, Monday and Tuesday I loaded the carbs up with the assistance of 5 IU slin on the big meal post training. Makes a hell of a difference.

Gear has been consistent last couple of weeks. Every 2nd, 3rd, or 4th day I just take 1mL Deca, 1mL Bold, 1mL Test E all mixed together... Why every 2nd, 3rd or 4th day? I just go by how I feel, if I'm not tired or worn down and feel like I'm boosting I go every 2nd day otherwise I just stretch it out until I feel I'm ready for the next shot. Same sort of strategy with Dbol, taking either none or 20mg on non-workout days, workout days up to 60mg if I'm feeling good that day, or even none when I want to back off.

Monday and Wednesday this week I also did 1mL of Tren A (just brewed up a batch at 75mg/mL... it's the god's nectar all right. Super boss juice).

That tyre upstairs weighs over 500kg u won't be flipping it mate.

Also in regards to 1ml test, deca and eq every 2nd, 3rd or 4th day depending on how ur feeling is a pretty flawed theory. They are all long acting steroids. Injecting every 2nd day or every 4th won't make a difference and if your feeling great or feeling shit it's not because ur body can't wait till the 4th day and needs 3mls now it'll be because of other factors. If that theory was the case and it was because of some kind of hormonal fluctuation then the type of steroids your taking wouldn't do anything to make it better right away because of the type they are.

Maybe like nutrition, sleep or water intake.

But anyway good work on hitting 100kg.

100kg & 19" guns at your height is getting impressive!

You're a mad man with your AAS use (imho :pfft: ) but it seems to be paying off. Some solid DLs & presses there too.

KUTGW.....you crazy mofo!

I've got some mean respect for your strongman training now. It's good stuff man.

Club physical Westgate

You find a new training partner there trolololol

Who knows what the future holds :pfft: It's just close and convenient.

Bugger. I'm guessing you've tried. It's a pretty big tyre!

Nah, that's not the theory. I agree with you regarding the half-lives (although, I do feel that a significant portion of the depot leaks before it becomes stable, so you do get a bit of a spike the first 12-24 hours after any inject). The reason I'm doing it this way is purely about getting the volume of juice in me. More than 3mL is multiple injects, which literally becomes a pain in the ass. And, as you say, when you're feeling shit and run down... you need to change focus away from gear towards nutrition, sleep or water intake.

Cheers
