Training arms for 3 hours straight is gym dumb, that's why I said it.

I didn't mean you are dumb. That is just a dumb thing to do, that's all.

Anyway good on you.

It's not gym dumb if used as a shock tactic as I am. You fucken dipshit.

Do you consume carbs/protein during this 3 hour workout?

You just said your friend does it Monday, Wednesday, Friday.

If he hits just arms one if those days for 3 hours its gym dumb.

Whatever dude it's your time, all in saying is its a waste of time.

Feel the size of your bicep and tricep, now tell me why on earth anyone would spend 3 hours on a muscle that size. Unless your fucking about there's just no absolute reason of need to do that. You can achieve exactly the same result in around an hour.

So if you can do that in an hour why would you workout your arms for three? Do you have any understanding of how a muscle is broken down from resistance training and the stages of repair?

Hey man, he's a natty, it completely thoroughly exhausts him and it gives him 4 days complete reset. Works for him.

Like I said.. I prefer short and sharp workouts. I agree with you for the most part. But I also do believe that you need to step out of the box at times to break through to the next level.

I've got a degree in Biochemistry and I've done a lot of Human Anatomy and Physiology. I know how the body breaks down and repairs. What I'm doing here is putting myself in a state of shock, and the body will adapt.

Yeah but to much shock must throw your nervous system out of wack without adequate rest right....?

i think there's way to much reading into why someone does something out of the ordinary just one time in their life...i mean seriously

I wonder how knowledgeable the same people would be bagging Arnold for going out for a weekend of drinking and eating and doing 8hrs of squats in the wilderness...gym dumb?

worked for him

yeah different genes, different guy, different times, can't compare heard it all before.

but bagging someone for doing something you wouldn't do...is just "www.dumb"

Ok, so now we are comparing this guy to Arnold. Lol.

All I stated was a 3 hour arm workout is dumb. Which I'm still waiting for someone to tell me where the benefit is in it compared to a 1 hour arm session?

A degree in biochemistry, yeah Iv read that several times in this thread. It doesn't surprise me. people with degrees go to lectures, read and research information, retain it then pass a test. having a degree doesn't make you intelligent or know any better. I don't really see how that's relevant yet you keep bringing it up like it should give your argument (which is totally unrelated to biochemistry) some credibility. Iv got a degree as well, I went to UNI for 4 years whoopee...

hahaha ok I'll repeat my deleted post but think you misread or didn't read some of it.

in no way ... IN NO WAY ... ok um ... in zero ways ... (is this clearer, r u getting this...?) am I comparing IDW to anyone great.

I did say - would you bag Arnold for his weekends in the woods, getting drunk and over-indulging in everything and getting under the Squat bar all day long while he was out there?

good on ya if you would, you should have written to him bagging him for wasting his time cos you know way more than him.

IDW does a 3hr arm workout one time in his life (from what I can see) and you wanna talk benefits of...? no wonder he thinks this is Tommy sitting in a folding chair in some internet cafe getting his "NZBB bashing fix"

sad but true

Well saying it has worked for others he has provided you with anecdotal evidence has he not

My rule of thumb is that your last workout shouldn't interfere with your next workout. Without adequate rest there's no point doing this IMO

Lol um wasn't that Tom's "rule of thumb"? At the start of this thread when your were using a CPU to randomise your weekly training split he said it was gym dumb, you turned green and shit hit the fan. Now you're seeing sense. Congratulations.

Mate lol.

You're not my mate Tom. [MOD EDIT: No offensive comments, please.]

That period of randomized training saw my bench fly up to 160kg for 9 reps.

Post some pics and vids of you training before you make any more comments Tommy [MOD EDIT: No offensive comments, please.]

My names not Tom.

Umm all the prescription meds you abuse got your bench up to that not randomised computer program.

Do u squat and deadlift? All I read is bench. What's your other numbers br0?

Hey Tom,

My legs are probably my best bodypart. Post some pics or vids or show

who you are before you say anymore.

[MOD EDIT: No offensive comments, please.]

I come on here and say I had a good arm workout and I'm enjoying training... and [MOD EDIT: No offensive comments, please.] like you come out of the woodwork? lol

I'm having so much fun loling IRL. You're a loser, pick on people having a good time that aren't complaining? lol

I think this forumtopic couldn't have a more appropriate title :P

So true.

Guys, I've said it before and I'll say it again. Leave the detective work to the mods. If you suspect someone is a troll, report it to us, and let us investigate it. Abusing the other person is a surefire way to get yourself suspended.

I'm not going to go into the details here, but I will say this:

- There's one factor that indicates Raff590 could be Tom.

- There are several more that indicate Raff590 is actually Jack (and I know who Jack is... the question is whether Raff590 is legitimately Jack's account)

- We are continuing to investigate it, but at this point it looks most likely that Raff590 is Jack, not Tom.

Now, one of the mods has already spent a heap of time tonight cleaning this topic up. Play nicely, or else there'll be more suspensions to come.
