140kg is good bro, i did that the other night 5 rep. Was pretty stoked. Think i could have gone a bit more heavy but didnt want to push it.

Hey you should post some pics on this forum futech. I'm all :shifty: whenever I'm at LM, scary knowing someone knows you but you don't know them.

140kg x 5 is all good, focus it all on the chest as much as possible and you can't go wrong!

^He likes to hide behind the treadmill and touch himself while perving on u

U bnched 180 yet? I thought u were gonna do it by 14 jan? Are u still trying or u got another goal now

I'd have thought I was too aggressive and powerbuilderish looking to attract that kind of attention. Argh! :x

Still working towards it, no rush I'll get there... I should have given it a shot a few weeks ago when I took that video of my bench that I posted, kind of peaked then. I'll try and peak again over the next few weeks tho and give it another shot

I know that feel :(

You think you're going good. You do a few good lifts and expect to keep getting better week in week out but for whatever reason you kind of go downhill the next week and beyond and you're like damn I wish I got some vids before!

I just take vids all the time now. My YouTube channel is getting flooded lately :pfft:

Keep hammering at it bro. How long before the missus gets home and you have to 'refocus' ?

Only two more weeks! Time to drop everything, get a small apartment in the city and train full time. Just kidding, would be the life tho...

.........so increasing water intake to 3-5L + 1/2 aspirin a day will be of more use if the cause of it is related to blood volume.

..........

thoughts?

interestingly, long-term aspirin use now proven to lead to increased risk of blindness ... yay

recently completed 15yr Australian study and 2,500 subjects...long term use showed that people taking regular aspirin faced a higher risk for age-related macular degeneration (AMD), one of the leading causes of blindness in older adults.

Had a great workout today.

3 hours of biceps torture with triceps thrown in for pump and forearms at the end.

Did all manner of exercises for the biceps, can't be fucked typing it all up, but it was a mean session. Peaked pretty early with 70kg EZ-bar curls for 14 reps drop to 50 for more.

About half way through I pulled out the tape measure, like the true bodybuilder I am, and measured my arms. lol

18.5" left

19" right

The forearms were screaming from the pump at that point! Got a bit of a cramp lock up situation in my right forearm as I type this. Bloated like a mofo from the Dbol, biting my cheeks when I chew and thighs rubbing like mad when I walk. Be warned kiddies, steroids are bad!

1kg off target for the blast 8)

Over and out

Yeah id post some pics but i'd probably get stalked by tom.

Getting some good size on those arms mate. Im measuring at 17 both. I tell ya, it's so much harder to get big snakes when your 6'3ft.

I was in early today but didnt see ya. The place was packed, really don't like it when your waiting to use gear and there's clowns standing there talking. On the plus side though there were heaps of hot bitches. So the eyes also got a good workout.

=P~

Oh to add, isn't 3 hours over working don't you think?

Tomleegolf? He might want some icecream

Yea, when I pump them up they blow up mad, like water baloons. They're around 17" when cold as well. :/

Wednesday Im at Auckland Uni, this evening I might drop in to LM for some cardio on the way home from work. I hate it there when it's packed as well... Akl Uni is nice and easy right now... will be shit once Uni starts back up.

It's overworking alright.... forcing my biceps to respond. I'm only training with my mate for one month total, he's a natty that gets accused of steroids all the time. Philosophy is 2-3 hour workouts M, W, F and tons of rest on the other days. If it works for him it's got to work for me. :)

Personally I like short and sharp 45m - 1hour workouts. But the marathon ones like these are also good once in a while for a shock

A 3 hour workout?

What do you do in 3 hours for arms? Lots of talking and looking in the mirror, or actually working out?

If its working out for 3 hours soley on your arms for hypertrophy could you enlighten me on what the point of doing it for 3 hours is...

Sounds like another case of gym dumb to me but before we all wet out pants and get offended maybe you could give your reasoning.

Your bicep muscles are the size of an orange fruit and your triceps aren't much bigger so 3 hours is just overkill IMO. Nothing more will be achieved in 3 hours than what could be done in 1 hour.

Smarter not harder.

Just some constructive criticism, obviously you have good access to steroids and alot of time at your disposal to put towards bodybuilding. And don't take this the wrong way but your planning is fucken shit. If you planned and prepared better I think you could achieve your goals easily.

I'm training with my mate who's natty, same height and built 19" arms. Awesome biceps on him. Blast them to oblivion is what I need, he says.

He's been training like an obsessed man since 12 and he's 36 now.

Like I said I prefer short and sharp workouts.

Just another example of dumb posting from you.

My names not Tom it's Jack.

But whatever mate, I'm not really interested in your profanities just training and giving advice where I think it's beneficial.

I'm not going to argue but where did I say I know it all or where did you gather that perception from?

I don't know it all nor do I claim to, but I do know that 3 hours of solid arm workout isn't anymore beneficial than 1 hour... Saying I'm a know it all from that comment and asking you to explain why 3 hours, is quite an exaggeration.

You don't know that 3 hours (quite slow paced) isn't anymore beneficial than one hour. It's your opinion. Once every while it can be exactly what's needed to push to that next level.

Open your mind up to the possibilities rather than being some sort of closed book.

OTT response

but this used to be a common shock technique in the magazines years ago... can remember they would prescribe a whole day of this, every hour just curl, curl, and curl some more.

didn't work for me but it worked for Shawn Ray and Kevin Levrone

That's exactly how my mate Arvin built his philosophy... he used to have every single flex magazine from the 90's lol When it comes to Arm training, his is second to none... especially the shock technique stuff.

Sorry for the OTT response Android buddy. I've got a pretty short fuse when I smell Tomsammce

Because you insinuate I'm "gym dumb", and you act like you know you're right. Not because it made sense, because it doesn't - if it made sense I wouldn't argue.
