Has probly been asked many times before in the BBing realm and have searced a few forums but cant quite get my head around it.

If one eats a calorie surplus, this will encourage muscle growth? taking into account they eat there protein requirements, where the other excess calories come from (carbs & fats) have any revelance??

Eating at a calorie surplus will increase your mass. Fat/muscle/bone density/water associated with glycogen stores.

Potential muscle growth is triggered by sufficiently stressing muscles, eating enough to repair the damage and to adapt to the stress, and resting.
