I just saw soundsgood mention on another thread that nzbb is changing its name to Gymnation.co.nz, is this true? That gymnation website already re-directs to NZBB :-s

Why not just start another site instead of re-branding this one?

I heard GymNation was in recognition of GymRat's hard work and stardom...is this also true?

It's true that we will be rebranding NZBodybuilding as Gymnation. We started discussing that back in June (and the topic is still stickied in the Chitchat forum).

It's not true that everyone will have to reregister with a 0 posts. Soundsgood is shit-stirring there! :D

Why not just start another site instead of re-branding this one?

Because then we're dividing the gym community. Don't worry - you'll still have a dedicated bodybuilding section of the site where you can hang out with other bodybuilders. This just opens us up to other gymgoers - powerlifters, crossfit, MMA, etc. It also gives us a better platform to start developing new features for you.

Had a read sounds interesting.

Is it going to be like bodybuilding.com where you have a profile where you can have albums etc and shared training program, diet etc on your page?

Please. It'll be so much better than bodybuilding.com. :grin:

But yes, that's sort of the plan. There will be a lot more member profile-related stuff (features, stats, etc). It's going to be a work in progress that gets completed module by module, but the first step is moving to a new platform.

Tom, sorry to hear you're not a fan of this. But if you'd like to expand on your concerns (the serious ones), I'm happy to consider them.

We're just starting the design phase with the developers at the moment, so if you guys have any suggestions, now's the time to make them.

I like the new name of gym nation in saying that will mean I will have to change from NZBB hottest male member to gym nation hottest male member.I just had a thought I should be the mascot for gym nation after all I am a hot good looking film star cheers Android.I hope it is a lot more easy to add photos also videos off youtube.

Dunno who told u or why you think your the hottest member... No one even knows what u look like cause u wear that 1990s hat backwards and those those stupid blue blocker shades all the time
