I was 130kgs started having chest pain, and I had to go out and buy a XXXL shirt, and 112 Pants. I decided then and there that I had to do something. I tried every diet under the sun, with success at the start but never long term.

Finally tried Weight watchers and learnt that I could eat what every I wanted as long as it was in the right portion. I also learnt that I was very much an emotional eater (which has not changed but now managed more efficiently).

I lost a lot of weight got myself down to 90kgs but looked sick, then life got in the way and I put on 5kgs..... I then started my Bachelors degree and sitting behind a desk all day my weight slowly went back up to 100. In my second year after my husbands grandfather passed away we went and joined the gym.

I also decided that I did not want to lose my man as I was fat again. So I started the traditional bodybuilding training. Got myself back under 100 and sitting around 15% body fat, then my PT had to have surgery and I decided to try someone else, now I'm crossfitting and the weight is falling off again (9%), doing Paleo diet and loving it.... Let see what Christmas brings my worst time of year. \:D/ All this to not only to keep and prove to my husband that I can do this but also to my current boss who told me at the start of the year that I would stop going to the gym.

guy earlier in thread said bret hart still hates shawn michaels when he actually doesn't. don't you even follow wrestling bro? jfc...

btw don't know why so many ppl dickride arnold for, guy is like 65 now,,

I think it's to do with his life long drive and incredible series of achievements.

Given that the vast majority of people can barely be bothered showing up for work and going through the motions, his smashing it for 50 years stands in stark contrast.

Whose achievements do you find inspirational?

cause this cracka was lookin like a 6'3 white flag pole. all da maoris on da school bus were bigger than me. Then i went to the gym and seen this fulla with massive arms. Being abit of a creep I followed him around doing exactly what he did. One day he called me out and asked why i followed him. I said i didnt know what to do in the gym. He asked what my diet was like. i said what diet. never talked to me again. took me 2 years to find out why

Seeing Conan the Barbarian for the first time at a young age and then Stallones movies after he gained the size like Rocky3 and Rambo etc. Those films made me admire a muscluar look even though I was way too young to have even begun training.

Brother got a Don Olivers Bench with the old Zeus Weights and Weider exercise charts so I just used that with him when I was old enough.
