Might be in the water. I had this this morning. Was right in the middle of some curls and I looked over at the preacher curl bar (where I was going next) and thought, "Oh hell naw"- went and sat on a bike for 15mins and went home.

Generally only happens once every month or two for me.

You keen for your next workout or completely shagged?

If it hasn't happened to you before could it be worth getting bloods done or something? Could be a lack of something? (I'm far from a science type person).

Either way, I feel you, man- you feel crap when you wander out again after like 15mins and the receptionist makes some smart-a** comment "Only a quick one today?".

i've almost finished cutting with <20g carb daily but a couple weeks ago had a cheat meal with lots of rice and felt dead for the rest of the day, it was like body shutdown after large carb intake.

oh, I had rice last night, I am still so new to this stuff I am a bit lost sometimes. I am finding the cutting (per nutritionist orders) very hard this week, and I too had a cheat last night with the long grain rice.

cutting and hot weather has made me feel pretty rooted at the moment, but just pushing through. going through about 8 litres of water a day at the moment

agreed, I think that its my diet thats killing me, I need more calories, but good calories and some good carbs, I have not had many recently, probably less that 100 g today.

It sounds kind of unscientific but I agree with the change in weather thing too- we had a warm one here for the first time in ages and ooooooweee, I was suffering! :?

same man, I have asked my nutritionist for his recommendation for a diet/pre-workout change too.

today is legs, so I am going to need LOTS of energy :pray:

I pulled my pants up and did 30 hard minutes of cardio just now after dinner, so eating helped and ya the temp is down too...

Did your dinner contain carbs?

yes, cup of long grain brown rice...

with Groper fish

I hope the purpose of your cardio was fitness, because you wont be burning any fat whatsoever after eating a cup of rice....

the purpose was to burn calories, I dont know enough yet about what burns when and how it all works, hence the need for a nutritionist ( which I have just had for just on 3 weeks) and yes he told me NOT to eat rice. but I was desperate....

DIANABOL can you give me a basic, why I wont burn fat with the rice?

I dont understand it all yet...

What's the going rate for a nutritionist? (If you don't mind my asking)

nope I dont mind at all, I go to a guy names Nathan Scott at a place called Team Medical in Kapiti.

It was $75 for the initial 1 hour consultation, then its been I think $45 for each subsequent 1/2 hour visit.

Edit: that inital visit included blood work and piss test and an assortment of other tests.

when you return for the next visit he shows you a whole bunch of numbers and bar graphs about your body and cells and all kinds of stuff.

the abbreviated version looks like this

you get one of these each "update" visit, so once every 2-3 weeks I will go back to get restested but this machine that he attatches to your right foot in 2 places and your left hand in 2 places and it then spits out the above data.

I decided to see a nutritionist after I thought I was not making any more head way in fat loss, when I stopped smoking I went from 95 kg to 110 kg thanks to an ice cream binge, I was a tubby man (Jul-aug 2012). I got sick of being fat so started to exercise, I got down to 102 kg but I felt it was not going so well so I sought help.

so now I am minus 4 kg fat and 2 kg in weight but a LOT of that weight was water weight when I last got tested above. so I am really about 95 kg now, 5 more kg to go.
