deadlifting 200kg by xmas

i guess the title says it all! was working out tonight and couldnt get passed 180, tryed 190 and could only get the bar of the ground.

looking for any tips or what kind of routine i should be doing to reach that magic mark.

im 25, 98kg 6ft1

i workout at home and usally just focus on bench/dead/squat/military press

It'd be handy to know how you're failing the lift when you miss - how far off the ground do you get it? It sounds like you're failing below the knee? What's your start position like? i.e. foot width, shoulders above the bar, head position, hips high or low at the start...

Like greemah said, a video would be handy, that'll fill us in better on whether there is something technical you could improve, or if it is simply a strength issue.

sorry guys cant really organise a vid at the mo.

ill try my best to desribe it, i stand with feet about shoulder width apart with grip just past my stance.

i use the reverse grip ( so one hand is facing foward and the other back )

should i be doing all my deadlift sets and fast as i can? or spent more time under tension?? is this the same for the bench/squat/press??

I think its called the staggered grip .

Wendler is perfect for what yr trying to do,be smart though or you can really f*ck yr back up.
