After giving this thread some good thought and reading your guys post that you guys are going to sponsor me and hopefully more NZBB members will sponsor me as well.I will say to competing in the new year.The next step I will have to think of way just like what MT and Drizzt for there powerlifting.I am going also ask Jo if she could sponsor me as well plus it would be awesome to be sponsor by one of NZ greatest female bodybuilders.Soundsgood yes thanks mate with you helping me with my prep and thanks mate for your offer.

People wants gymrat to be treated equally yet they make these movies of him which are complete piss takes and then single him out for bloody donations, ridiculous. I think this is just an extension of the GR movie series - More entertainment for the so called 'supporters'.

You're missing the point(s). See second paragraph and line about WWE purchases in first paragraph.

My point was that people are interested in giving to Gymrat here because he's something of an institution here. He's posted here for several years and therefore people have an interest in him.

A second-hand WWE DVD on Trademe is probably little more than $10, if that-hardly a big spend.

I think that is great that people on hear wanting to help me out by donting money for my prep.If I do get enough money I do the Pan pacific show in Aucks as well but I will cross that path when I do.I should mention that I am one very luck dude who has trained with some New Zealand's top bodybuilders like Moe,Mike Dedenham,Jo Stewart also helped Mike Kingsnorth train legs as well.It was a step up from my training but I had fun and also every minute of it rocked.

Would be great to see him on stage, he's certainly got the heart for it and a good personality to boot. Good point though! Some of these peoples intentions are questionable, making shitty movies that cast him as a tosser in public.... I hope it's really to fulfill a friends dreams and not just to record another YouTube blockbuster.

When my fundraising page dose come on to givealittle.co.nz I urge you guys by spreading the word like telling your co workers,friends family members etc plus the more funds I get I might be able to do two shows in the new year which are the Pan Pacific show in Aucks plus the NABBA South island show in Dunedin.

I think we'll create a new topic specifically for Gymrat's journey to the stage, so we can follow his progress better, and give him advice. And if any bodybuilders in Dunedin feel like coaching him in person, I'm sure it would make a huge difference too.
