Vomiting after Leg day

Recommended Posts

I usually do 4 leg exercises squats, calf raises, hamstring curls and leg extensions 4 sets each and i am extremely nauseous by my last exercise and sometimes leave the last 2 sets or so i decided to push through and finish today and ended up not being able to move then vomiting violently

I had a meal of chicken and potatoes with a protein shake an hour before, this has happened before i am wondering what i can do to stop this happening? other than doing fewer exercises or dropping intensity

Don't drink too mush water on heavy legs workouts. Its gauranteed to come up :puke: Just sip away between sets :D

Do you still train legs MNZ :pfft:

Believe it or not but they have got a tad bigger. Just let me know when you can squat 5 plates a side x 8 wee fella & I will take yr short arse on at the rack.....albut on a crapped out smith machine

only an hour before is not enough man. you'll want something in you for good energy so don't wanna wait too long either - try 2, 2.5, 3 hours after the meal and find what is the shortest period you can get away with.

if you really can't wait that long after eating then eat a bit less before legs (make up for it with the post workout meal).

if when you get to the gym you can still feel something in you that might stir something up, having a bit of chewing gum is always handy. i find the mintyness suppresses the gag reflex quite well

How long you been on that routine for? I find if I push myself on leg days on a routine I haven't been on for long I can get nautious or vomit
