pain between shoulder blades, possibly in spine?

about 6 months ago i went to a physio to sort out my shoulder issues which turned out to basically be lacking rear delts and bad flexibility, but she also told me that i have a small curve in my neck and lower spine.

now since about last tuesday, I have had a warm pressure/tension in the middle of my back (very central, and almost at shoulder hight) that is becoming very annoying. Doing the one exercise she gave me (pull my head back and pull my chin down towards my chest) seems to relieve the tension temporarily, but it comes back.

this pain seems to be a lot worse when sitting down, seems to go away after standing or walking around. it doesnt seem to effect my strength or anything, just when i sit for more than 20 minutes, some pressure seems to build up inbetween my shoulder blades.

what can I be doing to help solve this, is there something i am missing? or do i really need a trip to the doc (which is a real hassle for me due to work)
