When to hit the powder?

I dont drink any protein shakes or take any supps.

Does there come a time when you need these?

Is it when you stop progressing in the gym or what?

also: On a slight tangent- I keep hearing that you shouldnt eat more than 2 cans of tuna a day or your eyes will shrink into your head and your brain will melt from too much mercury.

Is this just a myth like with egg yokes?

Drink the powders before u start at the gym. 3 months prior is ideal cause ur muscles hold all the protein then when u start at gym they are full of the powders and will just get massive as cause there is all that protein already stored in them, if u haven't started on the shakes already then I feel sorry for you Brucie all those lost gains ull never get back. If suggest u stop lifting and just drink shakes for 3 months before u resume lifting again, stay safe man.

Boil them eggs. a size 7 egg has an average of 6 grams of protein. Eat the whole thing. Don't be scared of the fat it contains.

When cooked, you get all the protein absorbed. Uncooked will only allow half of the protein.

They are cheap as, and you can easily eat a couple between meals. 8 eggs a day will add an average of 50gms protein into your diet, plus all the aminos and B vitamins, phosphorous and selenium.

Blame your farts on the indians in the gym.

You don't need protein powder providing you are getting enough protein in your diet already through normal foods like meat, eggs, milk etc. As long as your getting at least 1g of protein per lb of bodyweight you'll be sweet. However if you aren't then adding protein powder can be an easy and cheap way of getting enough protein

There's also another advantage to whey protein, that it is quickly absorbed so ideal for immediately after your workouts. But in reality as long as you are getting enough protein each day that's all that matters

":3pbrz6z8]i don't think you are ready for protein powder. maybe wait a few years until your gains slow down then do plenty of research research so you are making an informed choice when you purchase one.

This.

Also trust your source, lotsa dodgy protein powder dealers out there.
