1st re-feed day

My body fat is getting pretty low now, thought I'd try a refeed to speed up the process a bit.

I figured it'd be a good idea to eat lentils and oats all day, bumping up my carbs and getting most of my protein at the same time. Cheap and convenient.

All I can say to that idea now is "urk"

I'm absolutely stumped on the lentils, gonna go eat me some white bread and honey

Do you cook your lentils a particular way or put anything with them?

I find them hard to eat on their own unless I do a moroccan lentil salad.

Sometimes I just use tinned lentils; 1 can of delmaine lentils, 1 can tuna, 1 can beetroot, 300g spinach or salad greens, balsamic vinager or aoli to taste. Awesome macros + really quick and tasty.

When I'm cooking them myself I'll do quite a lot at a time, heaps of ginger, some garlic, tumeric, ground coriander seeds and a bit of lemon or tamarind puree if you have it. I'll break that up into a few different dishes when I want to eat, eg adding coconut cream or chicken+tinned tomatoes or whatever. I'll have a pot sitting in the fridge for a couple of days but I wouldn't recommend longer than that because I've been told they start getting harder to digest.

Aren't carb refeed days supposed to be low fat?

Idk if they are but thats super low fat. Use balsamic vinegar on tinned stuff and your total fat is like 3g from the tuna.

Some coconut creams aren't that high in fat, and even if you use a whole can you might be looking at 40g or so which is fine because its a whole day of food. Pays to check though, there are drastic differences between brands etc.

you can easily make those ideas <2% fat if you want.
