Yawning is linked to dehydration primarily.

If it is a breathing issue, then you need to breathe with your reps, ensuring you expel all the air as you complete the reps. Deep breath on the negative portion and exhale completely as you get near the end of the rep. May mean you need to slow your reps down to get proper breaths. Then again, if you are doing high to moderate reps, you'll be winded as f*ck anyway, can't be helped

I've had issues with leg press because of the increased bloodflow to my head during concentric phase. I've read that bloodflow to muscles can be cut off if they are underload more than 60% and all that blood needs to go somewhere else.

I get broken capilaries in my face around my eyes etc and I've had to change my pre workout to avoid this. I also have to be careful with my head position during the movement, I find if I have my head position is too low and horizontal I get more drama and my face flushes up.

You might be getting light headedness because of the return of bloodflow post set.

  • 1 month later...

Hi there, I had this problem during my bodybuilding program when I was doing some challenging workout but I found out later that it was due to insufficient cardio, so I started light jogging for a km or so just to get my heart rate up and I was sweet as. I head massive headaches and lub dubs at the back of my head but now that's all history as I tend to do my cardio properly. Hope that helps :)
