Heavy seated calve raises at home

Hi all

At home I have a barbell, dumbells, plates, bench, and a cage. Up till now I have been doing seated calve raises sitting on my bench in the rack, with a barbell on the safety rails and I roll it onto my knees (have a plank on my knees so it doesn't hurt, and toes are on a plank also)

I currently do 1 set of 15 of just over 250kg but unfortunately I don't have any more plates so can't increase the weight. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good way to do single leg heavy seated calve raises with the equipment I have? Holding plates on one knee doesn't seem possible really as it's not stable and hard to get them in place

If I can't find a good way I may have to increase my sets.. but 1x15 works really well for me and have been steadily progressing for 6 months so would rather not change

Thanks

IMO hillsprints, skipping, sled pushing will build better calves than any kind of raises will. Try giving them a go. I have good calves and always have, they are from playing sports and doing athletic type things, I also have mates who have shit calves and train them every week without fail with a range of different exercises. Most of the people I know who have good calves have them from running or playing some kind of sport or athletics.

I only work out at home, I added my wifes 60kg's to my calf raises as I ran out of weight too.

Thanks for your suggestions, I will chuck some skipping in as I plan to increase my cardio now anyway, and will also add another board so I can go lower & make more of an effort to squeeze at the bottom (was only squeezing at the top before)

Thanks for the input all :)
