hi guys, I have put up a number of posts but I don't think I ever introduced my self, pretty rude I know

I am a 54 year old living near Welly, I have always lifted on and off my whole life, mostly for recreation and to feel good.

I have not been a serious lifter since I was in my 20's a long long time ago, in a galaxy far far far away.....................ah sorry wrong thread.

I have always played sports, indoor and outdoor soccer, grid iron, tennis..etc..etc.

All these sports have been off and on again my whole life...............until I hit 50.

then things changed, I got lazy and fat, I went from 90ish kg to 103.

I took off the weight and then put it back on, over and over in 4 years and have always hovered around the 100 kg mark for a while now.

I started lifting again to try to get in shape and feel good about myself again. I started watching youtube channels and reading stuff done by lifters and fitness junkies and I seem to have caught a bug, I am really diggin the lifting and cardio, something I got bored of pretty quickly when I was younger.

So now I am experimenting with body building/sculpting. I have a vision of where I want to be at in my mind, and so I will try to get there over the next few years, then the next challenge will be to maintain it once I get there (if we ever actually get there and just don't continue to push the boundaries)

Anyway, that's me, I am Nick but go by DrDarkMatter, nice to meet you all, and love reading your post and thoughts and ideas, and look forward to getting your thoughts and feel back
