Hi my name is Tim

I'm looking at loosing weight from 89kg to a fit and healthy weight while also attempting to build up arms, chest and legs.

At the the moment I have just started doing so cardio with runs of about 4km, but to start building muscle i need to start using weights. I have a small kit of dumbbell weights which can add up to 5kg on each hand, i also have a skipping rope and a tread mill.

I was just wondering if anyone could give me some possible exercises/workouts with this minimal amount of equipment?

thanks very much

p.s I'm also in the process of purchasing some protein powder :)

do pressups for chest. put your feet on a chair or something of similar height and use your dumbells (with the weights on them) as pressup grips. lets you go low as and better for your wrists/forearms IMO. i used to do this and occasionally still do. goes good. heard of people chucking rocks in their backpack and wearing it for extra weight. never did it myself though. used to do 11 sets of 30-40 reps. and that was pretty much all i did for chest..do chinups/pullups too. just get a metal bar/pipe whatever and tie it in a suitable fork in a tree. ideally get more weights for your db's too cause 5kg is f*ck all. do skipping and sht after your weights or at seperate time or in between sets if youre hardcore
